STEWART, May We Please Have a Regatta de Blanc SCORE?

Yo,
If you are learning drums, and you read music, then this chart might come in handy for you:

http://www.gigging-drum-charts.com/supp ... bottle.pdf

*coughchatchkacough*
*coughshmaffycough*

STEWART, for the love of god don't sue the guy.
But maybe a nice personal note saying that 'Copyright Gigging Drums" is not really a legal copyright, since his chart there is a derivative work.

ETA: Change title.

And: WOULDN'T IT BE AWESOME IF THERE WERE SCORES available of all the Police albums so we could see the interaction between the parts?

Examples of such scores:

BEATLES
http://www.amazon.com/Beatles-Complete- ... 129&sr=8-1

HENDRIX
http://www.amazon.com/Jimi-Hendrix-Are- ... 160&sr=8-3

http://www.amazon.com/Jimi-Hendrix-Expe ... 160&sr=8-4

These are great, thanks Pluto dude.

It must be an exremely daunting task to transcribe SC's drum parts onto charts. I'd like to see someone put One World onto sheets. Holy crap those bars would look like fireworks!

Playing any music off sheets is waaayy tough enough, let alone SC's masterful drumworks!

That is neat for sure. Wow that is enough to make you dizzy when you see it on paper like that. playing it just makes you tired..haha.

...you know, I was thinking about this project back in college, putting together a Stewart Copeland note-for-note drum transcription book for Message In A Box (I'd just picked up Message In A Box at the time)... never did get around to it, though... every once in a while I still think it's a good idea... you know there's a whole bunch of Neil Peart books, Bonham/Zeppelin books etc... but no Stewart/Police books... someone should look into that someday... who knows, maybe I'll get around to it eventually...

There are others of us who can coughreadcough drum charts too, P-man  .

This'll drive my neighbors crazy for quite a while!
I'll look over the funkier bits with my teacher tonight!

Thanks Dan. :D

STEWART, when you get a spare minute (HA!) could you write up a couple of these (just for us)?? 8)

Sorry, I didn't mean to leave anybody out.
I just don't know who reads music in here and who doesn't.
I knew first hand that Shmaff and Chatchka did.

As you can tell from the questionable grammar in the poll, I was a little hasty in my posting here. ;)

That's OK. You're still the man of the hour :D

Interesting Idea...However

Not all that close to what he played...parts are correct, but for the most part Message In The Bottle is way off...did not read Walking On The Moon...cause I thought it might be much the same thing.

They are a good quick way to get the rough Idea of a song...kinda like cliff notes...lol.

Where do the Octabans go on the drum staff?
Stew's part's going to need 2 staves, I think.

On Darkness, One just for the echoed drums....
