Savannah Music Festival - One Year Later

Savannah Music Festival - One Year Later

Postby njperry on 25 Mar 2009 20:43

I can't believe it has been a whole year (as of tomorrow 3/26) since the incredible Stewannah experience at the Savannah Music Festival.

That was such an awesome time meeting the Nutters and then seeing Stewart play and then talk from so close.

It was a great time for those of lucky enough to attend.

You know what?

You know what? I didn't remember about the precise date, but this morning I just wanted to wear my Savannah t-shirt that you sent last year as a precious gift for me and Eugenio!!!

What a coincidence...ok, a day before...but it's kinda synchronicity eh?

I enjoyed every minute of STEWVANNAH! Meeting all the nutters and all our schemes to Paint the town Green. Hell it was covered in it..must have known we were gonna be there. Our adventures were fun for sure.

Mmmmm. Good eats while we where there. I was driving around the other day and came across a moroccan restraunt..with belly dancers. Reminded me of STEWVANNAH!

I just remembered the funniest thing ever. My horrible Kazoo skills. I thought my kazoo was broken. I just wasn't playing it right apparently. Laurie, and I and who else...I forget were sitting there as I fiercely tried to play this kazoo and they were trying to show me how to play one. Hahaha.

My favorite of course....Sitting right in front of STEWART in the second row. Squeeeeeeee :D :D :D

That was the night E introduced us to all the Nutters. It was so GREAT! And I remember the walk to the theater and passing out flyers about Stewart to random people who wondered what the hell was going on.
And sitting there on the front row in front of Stewart!!! Incredilicious!!! Plus E scored one of his drumsticks! Fun times in this ol' town.
Miss all of you, wish you were here. The azaleas are in full bloom and the whole city is gorgeous.
Lovin' it and YA'LL.

Ah, I miss the Nutters... good times! We had a great time down there.

Dive, remember the bar where the band was covering Synchronicity (I think)?

I feel a mix of Dumas' Twenty Years Later and Andy Summers One Train Later.
I loved that week we spent in GA. It seems a million miles away and yesterday at the same time.

I really hope that we can more or less reconvene for La Jolla - the book signings, if they happen, won't be only in one place - hopefully, otherwise it's New York a-gain.
