Have you seen the forecast? They're predicting precip Tues-Wed. and again next Friday. I think the days will be warmer, but nighttime will be below freezing! To be determined.

New storm now hitting the DC area on top of the 20-30 inches we got last weekend. The new one, aptly titled "snoverkill," isn't to be as large but still 6 to 16 more inches.

I haven't had to go work since midday Friday.

However, I have had an inside storm of sorts as our baby is teething while getting over a cold. Sam isn't the world' happiest baby. 1 tooth out so far and more coming.

It's just above freezing right now. It's suposed to snow by Thursday, and if it does... they might cancel class! Hope so, I've SO been procrastingating on studying for my history test. :/

AT 34 degrees this morning we are waiting for something. But it's foggy outside! What the heck does that mean? Looks like no snow here, but I wouldn't be opposed 'cause I need some time to catch up (I'm supposed to be working at home right now. Glad my boss isn't a fan!)

Officially sick of snow/cold/ice. But then, I do have to get up and hike in it @ 8 AM every morning...when it's generally colder/snowier/icier (it's the only time hubs can go with me.) Sigh.

I AM STUCK AT WORK! This was not how it was supposed to happen. "A light dusting with no accumulation"--what were they thinking? WRONG.

Oh, well. My boss is getting us Chinese and, next to Nutters, I like my co-workers best!

LOTS more snow today, making this season the snowiest EVER recorded in the Washington, DC area, toping the prior record holder of 1898-99.

Unlike ltwoman, I didn't make it in to work to get stuck there. Rather I am stuck at home with a teething baby. Still better than at work.

Posting this in the hope that it will give all you east-coast snow sufferers a bit of a giggle. We've got a 'severe weather warning' for south east england. There's a danger of an inch or two of snow overnight, temperatures a degree or two below freezing, and a stiff breeze. If all of that transpires London will grind to an pathetic halt, and hopefully you'll all get a warm glow of satisfaction from idiot brits failing to cope with a light winter shower, which will be designated as 'A BLIZZARD' by our news outlets.

Keep safe and warm y'all.

Uggg. If my estimates are correct we have about four freaking thousand inches of snow. All work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy.

It is SNOWING - I'm talking really snowing in Austin, Texas! It is sticking and accumulating and all that type of crazy snow type stuff!
I've lived in Austin for 18 years and I've NEVER seen it snow like this. We are getting big ass flakes! This is just unbelievable!
I take off to do some skiing this Friday - Monday in Vail, so this is totally got me jonesing. I'm going to work on my super speed black diamond playlist tonight! WHHHOOO HOOO! Any suggestions for tracks?

Luckily, the mountains have gotten some snow in the last few days, so your trip to Vail should be a success Jenny.

Most of this Colorado winter has been mild and lacking in snow. I think the East Coast took most of the snow and won't share. *glares at East Coast*

I miss the snow!
