My father's partner, whose office was right next door to my dad's, was from England, so I used to get these British-isms all the time. He was a doctor, so one of my all time favorites was esophagus pronounced EE-so-FAY-gus. It was great. My dad didn't move to the US until, hmm, he was like in his 30s, so he was always, as he would put it, "putting the accent on the wrong syl-LAB-ul." Yes. Hours of entertainment for the young EQ.
*EE-so-FAY-gus*
(side note, my dad's partner had a Jaguar just like the one in The Equalizer - had a very strong impression on me as you can tell)
There is no bigger gong.
