[Makes a note to bring these dear broads above the waist level].

EL, Shyvixen, Lynne and SamburuSunset (plus honorary guests) you will be sorely missed at the MSG.

Especially since I am freaking out being the only non-drinking member of this group.

I would have loved to share a bottle of Pure Unadulterated Orangina with some of you, and cower under the table when my dear mates will start bellowing Police songs.

I love you all

K

I don't know where they are from, except for EL. She is probably too skinny now and has to spend a lot in a size 4 wardrobe!!! :D

I would be very happy if one of them could come to The City That Never Sleeps....(I certainly won't)!

So if any of you lives close by, let's meet and celebrate the Greatest Drummer in the World!

Please have some respect for Neil!!!!
I never made a mystery to have grown up with Rush and a brother drummer who practiced all Neil's fills all the time.
But Neil writes mostly lyrics, apart from drumming, and that is where Copeland comes up winning.

I am listening to the devastatingly beautiful soundtrack of Silent Fall, and even if it is very evocative as a soundtrack, what I hear is a contemporary piece in the making. Stunning. He uses the strings sections in such an ethereal, fragile way...

I would like Stewart to talk more about his compositions. What inspires him, if the music is already there and comes out, etc. Maybe he has, in one of those presentations. Has he ever?

sorry, dude, didn't mean to diss Neil per se- he's not my cup of tea but acknowledge he is extremely talented.

Was just trying to goad both AZPeartnoy AND DM at once :)

Ah! Right! They have a bit of disagreement on the subject. 8)

I also love the use of the oboe in this recording. Stewart likes to use reeds and brasses (NOT saxophones) often, I think it's one trademark of his.

I am into Stewart The Composer today. He's just on my wavelength. :D
