So...is this an appropriate place to say THAT was one of the best things about the show?? I mean, there's more than one reason I went with a girlfriend and NOT my husband!!

Yes, yes it is appropriate.

Hello my name is Jenny and I have a problem concentrating on the greatness of Stewart's polyrythms when he wearing those pants.

Unfortunately, one of the steps is deleting the 26+ years worth of hot, hot photos, from "hot punk love" to hot tennis shorts to hot white pants. Sadly, I've been stuck on that step for years.

Yeah, I left my Police photo collages at my moms house. They are still in their original glory, though decaying more everyday, like Miss Havisham in her wedding dress...

Uh...YEAH!

So just jump right from the hot punk love to the hot tight pants and you'll feel like you've made some progress. It's a couple of steps, anyway. It'll make you feel better! I'm willing to be stuck on the hot white pants step for quite some time. :D

Hmmm.. Don't you have to want to quit for a twelve step program to work?

Maybe this is doomed to failure. We are all co-dependents here.

I went with a girlfriend AND my husband, and both were laughing at me all night. In fact, on her journal my friend said "Stewart came onstage for the encore wearing a Cubs jersey labelled "Copeland 07" on the back. It's a miracle that [Lynne] didn't rush the stage and cart him off under her arm."

The pants didn't hurt either. Nor did the smile.

Yeah I went with my husband, too. Thank god, he indulges my little obsessions and doesn't feel too threatened by them.

My friend said long as I didn't get drunk and cry through the whole thing, she was fine with it. Which left a lot on the table.

Ok, I think I've embarrassed myself enough here...

I see nothing embarrassing here :D . You're in good company here at SCAnon. Perhaps we need a white pants meme to accompany the tube socks meme ...

Jesus, I leave for a couple of hours and look what you people have begun.

Sad to say (cues up bad 70s R&B track to the tune of Diana Ross' 'Love Hangover'):

If there's a cure for this, I don't want it, I don't want it

;)

p.s. You won't need to get drunk to cry the first time you see our boys play live. I think I missed most of "Can't Stand Losing You" the first time I saw it in Dallas...something kept getting in my eyes...
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

A good therapy for the hot white pants and the shorty shorts is looking at the fishing green swimsuit picture and remembering that one of the issues of fame is that when you buy underwear at Woolworth's the assistant gives you a weird look if you don't ask for Extra Large...

It brings everything from Fiction Plane to Human Plane.
