COUNTDOWN TO DALLAS!!!

Postby conroy on 28 Jun 2007 01:14
Oh I'm sure I will. I'll be wearing blue jeans, and a Jimi Hendrix t-shirt. I'll have my eye out for Stewart shirts.

Three hours to go!
We didn't get the memo in time to try to spot you. Though, we would have definitely been easy to find. We got all sorts of stares with our Stewart Copeland.net and Klark Kent Konspiracy tour t-shirts, a good mix of people who cowered in terror as we passed by and others who thought we were really cool and wanted to join our merry band!

(We totally recruited people. Including some of the vendors selling those cool little blinky pins.)

Y'all, this is going to be a fun year.

I was well away from the front row, so I'm thinking you lot used a different bathroom, etc... But I figured I'd at least see you guys when we came in, left, buying suviners, and the easiest looking down off the escalator. I started wondering if everyones bags were lost...

What time did you guys get there, and what level did you guys park on, maybe you were the lot were the asswholes that we flicked off as we finally drove out? I could only see one face... (How weird would that be?)

Did anyone ask you where you could buy one of the shirts? I bet there were people looking.
Mrs. Gradenko, blog your experience in a new topic please!
If I did it would end up becoming about Stewarts ass and no one wants that.

We were there a pretty long time before the show, but there were a LOT of people there. Not that I'm trying to lecture you, but this is why you wanna make sure you have a plan well before showtime, or at least a fistful of people's text message info plugged into your cellphone. It's just a drag to have to feel like you're swimming upstream to find people in a sea of unfamiliar faces...

Oh but you would have so much fun hanging with us, like watching me try to kick the Whopper into the Burger King's mouth thingie that was projecting onto the floor out in outer ring corridor (Did someone record that?!) or the clown car moment when 10 of us piled into a taxi cab that was only supposed to fit 7 people that took us back to the hotel.
