Krypton Store needs a new shirt

Dang, Gina -- that font makes me dizzy!
Why would he hate us?
You know, the whole "burned all the copies of that movie" thing. That's not to say that I'm not totally on board with the idea. Screw Dancing with Wolves -- what could possibly prove ass-kickingness better than Drumming with Lions?
It was poorly executed in the film, tho, as the lions and Stewart were both only in two brief shots. The personal danger to him is greatly underemphasized.
WTF?!? Directing 101: Play up the mortal danger!
Hey Hannah, are you going to put that "SC will always be cooler than you" graphic on a t-shirt? I seriously think I'm gonna order one of these. What the hell! How much further off the deep end can I get? ;)

I may order GSC's too...we are all just too talented!!
I probably will at some point but I'll email you a hi-res version of the design in the meantime so you can get your own shirt/bag/hat/wallet/shorts/skirt/dress/ashtray/flask/lunchbox/socks/doormat/sheets/napkins/wallpaper/gift-wrap done :D

Two more tee caption ideas:

"Copeland Army," which I gotta point out, builds on the military theme...

I think I'll order at least a couple different t-shirts, just cause I'm going to so many shows this summer. I'll wear my SC.net shirt some, but I don't want to wear it out...

So, does anyone want to do anything before the tour starts?
I lost out on an Ebay auction for The Rhythmatist the other day. But, the guy who won said he could copy of it on DVD. I'm a little technologically impaired but I'm thinking there's got to be a way to capture an image from a dvd or some such media and have it made as a decal or silk screen design or something. It looks like a tee is the most likely to make happen (for me anyway). Dive---how's your knitting coming along?
Anybody got any ideas?

If someone could get a hi-res screencap or has a hi-res photo of SC drumming with lions, I'd be happy to find a way to make it into a tee.

Hey anyone have trouble ordering their SC.Net tshirt? I kept getting told my PayPal login had timed out even though it was only a few seconds...
Thanks Stewart!

You know I never knew what he ment by that... just thought he was insane. Just wikipediaed it though...

How did Stewart come across it? Did everyone but me know where the saying came from? Hey I'm not a gamer...

Heh. I think that was one of the expressions from the "Stewart Copeland Folklore" thread tl7 started. You ought to find it, it was hilarious. It was probably a month ago.

Those are the only two shots that actually show Stewart and lions onscreen together. Not very awe-inspiring, to say nothing of hi-res. He has expressed an interest in recutting the movie... i dearly hope better footage of this scene exists!

If your hell-bent on making a Rhythmatist tee, you know i'm down for it. But i suggest either the front or back album cover. That giraffe race is awesome, and will hopefully also be revisited by ye olde editor Stewart!

An SC hoodie would be sweet.

Chris, that's ALL there is? Seriously? Did they pay that director in Monopoly money or something?

Well, that sucks. I seem to remember more of our man tempting the lions with a meal of Stewart tartare.

Yes, the giraffe scene would be cool as well. I have actually been checking custom t-shirt sites to get an idea on costs and what styles they have.

Is anyone but me and Jed interested in designing some sort of
SC tee?

I'd like to try The Rhythmatist if I can get any kind of digital or hi-res image. But, there lots of other pics that would be alot easier.
Are there any favs?

I'd be happy to help with designs, Samburu -- I've got a couple of ideas. (I assume we're talking the stealthy/copyright? what's a copyright?-route, yes?)

Are you guys thinking of just posting designs wherever individually and then posting links here (like how Gina and Dive posted their ideas)? Or pooling them together in one place (and maybe donating the proceeds to WaterAid or something)? No pressure either way -- I'm just wondering what everyone else is thinking.

Although one thing -- would Stewart mind? (WWSCD?) I don't wanna make an SC hoodie if he doesn't dig the idea or if it'd be a problem/conflict for the lovely staff of SC.net. (Obviously we shouldn't use the SC logo w/o permission.)

ETA: Tee hee. Was just playing with the site Gina posted. Fun. I'd love something super simple like this, only not in white (I can't figure out how to change the shirt color):

ETAgain: Hazzah! I figured it out. Here's a simple KK black and green version. Just cuz the site is kinda fun.
