I can see it.

And alas, I'll be out of town this Wednesday so I can't make it. But let me know if you'd be up for the Troc show next week. It should be fun as I really loved seeing them in a tiny club the best, and I think they're just playing the balcony stage at the Troc, not the big one.

Will do Sock, though not likely. I'm getting to come in late this Thurs. and I doubt that he'd let me make a habit of it. Have fun if I don't see you!

Ok, so just for kicks, i checked on Megabus's website for next Wednesay. I see I can catch a bus from DC to Philly that leaves DC at 5:15pm and gets to Philly at 8:15pm. The next morning at 3:05 am, I can catch a bus from Philly and get back to DC around 5:35 am. Hmmmm.....

*jealous*

(esp. since the Bonnaroo gig may have fallen thru...according to Those Who Know the stage HHS was to play was entirely cancelled...I suspect due to the World Cup telecasts.)

Well, we won't be going to Thursday's show in CovKY after all. The new Rush documentary is (well, was) showing one-night-only 10 June, and the Boyfriend and I are going to that. He/BF is a huge Rush fan, and we won't be able to get to see them on Tour this summer, so this seemed like a "no problem" thing to do with him, lots of fun.
Then, I found out they just added ANOTHER night to show the doc!
Good thing I love this guy   !!!
Yes, any one who get to the show tonight-or even to the one in Northern KY-please, a full report!

I'm all set for Friday's show at the NXNE Festival. I picked up my festival wristband the other day. They are colour coded according to the evening one is attending. I was just thrilled to discover that Friday's wristbands are krypton green. The sales guy thought I was being sarcastic when I told him that I loved the colour.
Grace will be attending the gig with me. So, there'll be at least two Nutters in the house.

Vaughn and co., the venue you'll be playing in, the El Mocambo, is pretty much legendary. Everyone who is anyone has played there on their ascent to glory--Elvis Costello, The Stones, Rush, U2, The New York Dolls, just to name a few. During Tourzilla, Fiction Plane played there, too. You're in some pretty good company.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.

LL,
Please say hello to Jordan and Max for me. (And Vaughn, but I've never met him..... :)
I planned to show up with a video camera and interview each member of the band about their pyschological trauma related to the tour, but, I had to go to work.

Have fun at the show.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night's show at the Troc in Philly. Looks like HHS is headlining, although there are like 4 or 5(!!!) bands listed before them so it'll probably still not be the longest set, and an endurance test for me to get through all the openers unless they are good.

But I will be there to show some support and wear my new HHS shirt to the gig. :D
