Someone got a great shot of the last flag point on british soil :-)

Please note I have no idea who took this, and haven't asked for permission to do anything with it, so don't nick it without asking them, ok?

(Sorry smax - another thread-jack)

My home is devoid of visiting americans. This is not a good thing - even though they left me beer, and socks. Moeskido, Dirtymartini, it was waaaaay too short.

Mo - the term 'sweetie-head' is now common parlance round here, and I'm guessing once Stina gets home at the end of the summer, it will wheedle its way into swedish too. The unanimous verdict is that you are one yourself.

Kate, you may find the suffix "-head" lends itself fairly well to diminutives of all kinds. "Cutie-" comes to mind, particularly. No coincidence, when thinking about you.

More images (with appropriately abstruse captions) can be found here:

There aren't many people who could get away with using 'diminutive' in reference to this 6 foot, bolshie feminist - but you appear to be one of them, m'duck :-)

I have a limited grasp on the meaning of the word 'abstruse'. The captions are bloody funny though.

Holy Moe-ly - your pics are both brill and skill (2 of my favourite childhood adjectives for aceness) and you are waaaay too sweet for us frosty british gals to do anything but blush in response ;)

High praise, indeed. I live to amuse. And to be surrounded by compelling women as often as possible.

These images should prove invaluable for forensic experts who'll need to recreate the crime scene.

And by "crime," I'm referring to at least two of the opening bands.

The Flag

Postby Rameses on 06 Jul 2008 19:03

Did I imagine it or was Stewart so busy looking at the flag that he missed his queue to answer Sting when he was talking to him at the start of the show?? You definately had the flag up at the point where Sting said he used to live in Bayswater and Stewart rescued me....didn't you stewart?? no answer....then Stewart realised that Sting was talking to him...oh yes.... or maybe I was dreaming this??
