Wow, I missed all this.

Stewart shirtless.

Just got back from trick or treating.

Just wondering if Sally was showing the love for Andy.

Can't wait for pictures.

Quick update and then a more detailed post to follow:

Sally didn't get on stage. I think if they had launched her, she wouldn't have flown far enough to actually land on the stage.
BUT we saw her on giant screens! More than once! Also saw the flag more than once and STEWART gave several points. at the very end he went up to the microphone and said something that sounded like "that's the guy." But by then I was somewhat deaf so don't quote me on that.

The costumes: well. God love him...only Sting could do it and pull it off. A jester costume. with yellow and black diamonds, with TIGHTS with yellow diamonds on side and COD PIECE. I kid you not. Go check wireimage.com.
Andy was adorable as Charlie Chaplin. I am not sure exactly what Stewart's costume was. He started out with a cape but that didn't last long but he had a fantastic makeup job.

Fiction Plane was totally fun. (Skip if you don't like them, but I do and this is my post). Clearly they didn't get their costumes custom made...more like a trip to Kmart or costume shop but they still had fun with it. Joe said, before playing "Drink," something like "now I'm going to try to sing a serious song wearing this, wish me luck." and he batted it out of the park. Pete indeed dressed like Stewart, which was very cute and a nice tribute.

The fans; I saw quite a few young guys dressed like Stewart circa 1981 with green shorts, tube socks, one guy even walking around with a pair of drumsticks and a blond wig.

It was so much fun to meet new fan club and sc.net folks. Too many names to list in this post! I look forward to seeing some of you on Friday when I take over flag duty. :)

I'll close for now so I can try to see if any of my photos are decent. I was in the floor section near the sound board and it sounded great but was hard to see and hard to get good photos. But if you go on wireimage.com or gettyimages.com there are already some photos there. MUST SEE the costumes.

A fantastic night! I never had so much fun on Halloween! Thanks, STEWART, STING AND ANDY--YOU GUYS ROCK!

Thanks for the report Susan.

Sally made the giant screen! Flag points.

Stewart looks pretty scary to me.

Thanks for the report Susan, sounds like it was a lot of fun. I can't wait to hear all the full details.

Reports from DirtyMartini:

"Andy eithr ignord Sally or cant c 5 ft past his face. But there r indeed photos of SC. dunno quality yet. in costume v. SC, costume won. Then SC killed costume."

She also sends her love and says "Thank You Stewart".

I second that motion. THANK YOU STEWART FOR MAKING THIS AN AWESOME FUCKING HALLOWEEN!!!!!! (Even if I got to live it vicariously through texts and posts :) )
