IN defense of Kahlifohnians: as an adopted Kahli, yup we're crazy but we are also the Stoned State, so sometimes things get.

"...huh? Dat Stew Copeland yesterday? Sure? Urine and Sadness hihihihihi.......

Were we supposed to post something....aaah, first, I-ll go to Peets for some serious espresso...." :D

You guys who turned up for this event are proper die hard fans. Driving all that way just to see the fella. I wish I had time on my side to do such things but I guess nothing like that would happen in London and seeing as I can't really afford Police tickets for Twickers in September I'll probably wont ever get to even see him soon or ever

However listening to his drumming and seeing the odd live vid is always good enough for me as I will always learn something from the old white grandwizard of the skins.

How long was he there for and did anyone get to chat to him for a while?

He must be a pretty cool fella, I mean all that attention and he's been used to it for 25-30yrs.

I must say I do envy you lot for seeing him last night and hope your all happy with ur merchandise and signed anthology sets.

Well done ladies and lads.

Bongo Boy you online pal. Did you read my late post to you yesterday? If not say so mate. Just installed some new reording software. Will be putting on some draughts (just guitar no vocals) of my new songs on myspace soon. Will have to pick your brains in how to get the tracks on there if your able to assist. Working allday tommorow but hopefully get recording on Sunday.

Now, hopefully Mentos won't sue Stewart too? Now, you have to be Kareful with suing a Kopeland...

Very nice to know!!!! "

OK, pretty much hyperventilating at the thought of Stewart reading any of my posts.

Kalypso, love, love your avatar. So what if it was a trick of the light. Hair so dreamy.

Glad you guys had fun. I'm as envious of the fan meet-up as much as the SC meeting, almost. I know these in store type of things are usually pretty remote, but some time depending on who it is you can get some interesting one on one time. Back when Douglas Adams was still alive, my friend went to a signing and he made a crack about her being to cheap to buy the book and she launched into one of her long, meandering stories about how she went to Plasma Alliance to sell her blood, but then she was afraid of needles and passed out. He asked her some questions, apparently he didn't know you could sell your blood for money. And lo and behold in his next novel, the final in the Hitchikers series, there was the thing about Arthur Dent selling all his bodily fluids and that's how he winds up having a kid. So, you never know...

ANYWHO, sorry for the long meandering story about a long meandering story...
Thanks to Sockii (you rockii) for awesome Avatar photo!

Irish Rose called. Wanted to say that she is on the road back to New Mexico. She's still on Cloud 9. She said she would try to post tonight.
