[quote="demolition gal"]Los Angeles - with meetings at Backstage Cafe and then we can all go toilet-paper Stew's house at 2am! :D

Hi Demo!

Welcome to Copelandia!

I like your nick even if Demolition Man is my least favorite Police song. But on a chick, it sounds like Wonder Woman!!!

Interesting ... Demolition Man is one of my favorites, and the one that tops the list of songs I wish they'd play on this tour that they don't. I think it's the insistent rhythm coupled with the horns, the drum lead-in to the chorus, and I also like the lyrics.

thanks for all of the lovely welcomes! you guys rock.

I feel like a "demolition woman" everyday when I come to work, so I think it's just what jumped into my brain at the moment. now that I have had time to think about it, I have a few other clever name ideas but I was just so damn happy to find all of you, I had to sign up immediately!

so Demo Gal, I be.

I work literally around the corner from Backstage Cafe so the offer of meetings there was purely selfish. :D

if we really wanted to geek out, we could all wear our SC.net shirts and put our screen names on the back in green. oh, the goofiness! but hey, we would all recognize each other immediately.

Let's go! (To the Cafe)...Next time I go to LA it will be the first place I visit. I had no idea of where it was the last time I went, but it seems a very cool spot!

I never liked Demolition Man because it does not sound like the Police, the saxophone session is irritating, it is repetitive, and Grace Jones covered it for a Sly Stallone movie....I am sure Stewart hates it too

But you DemoGal, you're our SuperWoman!

...and YAYAYAYAYAYYYYYY!!! L.A. tied Italy!!
I know I am fighting against my own country but I prefer 7 hours in the car to 15 hours on the plane (just came back.... )

Yeah, legally binding sure. That's why it's let me vot twice. I expect some kind of cellist kick backs for my Italy vote.
Thanks to Sockii (you rockii) for awesome Avatar photo!

I just realized... maybe I need to take an avatar shot in my socks in front of Backstage....

I go there for drinks meetings & such - it's a very low-key fun place in the middle of snobby posh Beverly Hills - an oasis of Kool, as it were.

Wait, there is also the legally binding question of the US resident Copeland Fans that want to participate in the convention and would be discriminated (not everybody has $7,000 to spend on a plane ticket or can wait 2 years like yours truly to collect miles). Since the same goes for the Europeans that cannot come to L.A., I propose to organize both an American and a
a European convention, since this poll thread brings the name (for some reason) of yours truly  and in the spirit of equal opportunities for all Stewart fans to find somebody with which you can exchange DVD copies of Around the World and gush over Da Rhytmatist :!:
