1) Did anyone tell Andy about PJ Clarke's? (LOL)
2) Did anyone get Sally from the Supercats? This would be an excellent opportunity to deliver her.
3) I would expect his new book will be on sale. Imagine that's part of the reason behind the event.
I have both the others signed so maybe I'll shoot for bringing a CD. They're smaller, too.

1) Hee hee, wouldn't that be something.
2) Sally is probably still with the Supercats. Handing over Sally to Andy would be a sight worth seeing!
3) I'll try to bring something small in case he is doing a signing.

I'll have my camera too.

I do wonder if he will be signing stuff.

I just noticed that there is a 9 minute interview with Andy on the National Geographic website's page on the event:

SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

When I went to Andy's photo talk thingie in Toronto a year and a half ago, we were expected to buy Andy's photography book at the venue in order to be in line for signing. Mind you, the book was just hot off the presses at the time. He seemed quite happy to sign other stuff besides the book though. In fact, he indulged a few people who weren't even in line by signing their CD's,etc. as he left. I think it was the organizers who had the strict rules. It would certainly be worth a try to bring something small to be signed like "One Train Later".

If you all manage to deliver Sally to Andy, I'll pee myself. Photographic evidence would be a must. (Evidence of Andy and Sally, not of me peeing myself.)

I haven't read this whole thread, but I'm extremely jealous of you all! That said, I hope that you all have a fantastic time. I insist that you take lots of pictures and share them real time, and if there are drunken texts that will be icing on the cake.

Con and Pluto, I hope you are taking them to Iota as part of the tour of DC, or perhaps 9:30?

Missing you all,
Cheers,
Chatchka

Yeah, I was debating using an Andy or Stewart-centric name but figured this time of year better to play it safe and not do anything that might seem hinky to the restaurant especially this time of year. I'm out of town this week for work and won't be able to offer any sightseeing since I'm flying home tomorrow afternoon and have a ton of stuff to do before coming out to the show on Saturday.

I haven't had time to figure who out who is playing there on Sat (and I'm pretty bummed I missed Peter Hook there last night) and there's a band I want to see at Velvet Lounge (in the U street area also as the 9:30) called Screen Vinyl Image depending when Andy's event ends. The Black Cat also usually has decent music.

@DC Let me know for sure about Ted. The restaurant is supposed to call me and confirm the number sometime Saturday.
