I agree. I love the darker, stranger stuff much more now. I remember when Synchronicity came out, I could not stand 'Mother'. Now, I think it's brilliant.

Mother could have figured on an album by Frank Zappa (and the Mothers). Incredibly zany and weird. Not for everyone, I know.
Every time I listen to it I remember that scene from New York Stories with the giant mother balloon out of the window...

Franco, no worries. It's all good. I re-read what I posted, and while I honestly didn't mean to be offensive, I can see how you might have read it that way. I guess the biggest problem with posting on the internet is the tone of your writing can always be misinterpreted!
