The Stewart Copeland "Anthology"?

Postby empty on 26 Jul 2007 00:47

hello friends.

I think I need to order some depends. if it isn't from giggling, it is from sheer excitement.

What a week too! My computer dying has been made up for by scoring sockii's extra floor seat in Boston, Lue Ann's thread, the screenwriting and no this!

The girlie squealing had people running to my office to see if I was ok!~

3 weeks. and it comes out while I am in Jamaica (tix bought before tour was announced). Preorder now and it'll be waiting for me when I get home.SWEET.

This set is a great way to reach a lot of Police fans who are unaware of Stew's work outside the band since there has mostly been little media support for it. I'm hoping he does a looooooong series of these. It's perfect in the way it draws from his poppier material and even gives people like me something new to boot. Keep 'em coming!!

It IS a pretty nice overview of stuff--even for this diehard collector there are I think 7 tracks I don't have right now.

I'm banking on it. Stewart has said that if he ever wrote a book that it would focus on the post-Police years. The stories he wants to tell should dovetail nicely with this release (or a series of 'em :) ). Sorta like sneaking derangements out on dvd menus. Perfect marriage if you ask me!
