I'm sure Reuters or the Associated Press will be all over it!

After our planned trip to the Amsterdam concerts, Gina and I will be doing no more travelling until the Spring, so maybe if there is a get together near or at the end of the tour we will be there, but we'll have to miss anything in the remainder of '07.

So, if it's in the Spring, we will probably be there (barring conflicts) regardless of choice of location.

I have been on 2 cruises and I agree I'd rather not sway and sway and Uck ! (and I kinda suggested it heh,heh kidding)

Ok so seriously...this would be very costly but really great.

I would LOVE to go back to Italy. I stopped there in 1992 on a cruise, and again I think in 93. Rome ,Venice, Sicili,Palermo...that all I can remember. Fantasic country...I was a really long haired hippy at the time...mulletboy...hair touching my belt (Ha!). They didn't treat me like a "Rocker" at all...like in Canada...they were so nice. You are a musician? they would ask about my music...they RESPECT art?...I thought they were being sarcastic. I love that kinda respect. Inspiring.

How fun to go over there and party with you dudes and dudettes. I would love to take my girlfriend over there....I wanna ride GIO's Vespa, maybe I can check it's fluids. heh, heh, Sorry GIO...kidding.

How do you arrange something like that?....stupid jobs.

Today we saw all these machines at work that will replace us,kinda. Really depressing on a Friday. Yesterday was so fun. Today is....Friday the 13th!

Is it ever.

Great idea....I love the thought of it...I have to think of how I could actually do it. A Copeland inspired trip to Italy to meet the Copelandites.

can I get a "HELLS YEA!"

I KNEW YA COULD !!!.

What Conroy said. It would be a way to honor Ian's memory.

> I would be up for both a Konvention in LA at (Backstage Cafe gets my vote) and then another one in Italy a year or two from now.

That sounds both reasonable and do-able. No cruise ships though. As much as I hate flying, it's the only way I'll ever travel to my mother country.

I'd put in my vote for someplace in Northern Italy, but I'm admittedly biased.

> So start getting those passports applications in now if you don't already have one!

Mine is still good, I won't need to renew until 2010! :)

Ma sei italiano/a e vivi qui in NorCal? Qui gli italiani sono tutti di Lucca, Genova, Massa ecc.

All locations sound great, but if it's going to happen soon, then I'm selfish and would vote for a location close to home....LA if it's soon, otherwise Italy gets the gold.

Why hold only 1 convention? We could start in LA and hold the following in Italy for those who can! Tenerife gets the 3rd year.

One thing, though....do you think there might be a trading corner [drools]???

Italy is IN THE LEAD now people.

You know that makes me happy, right? I'd love to come to LA but my credit card provider may not be so keen.

Hey Jenny, you're not the only one!

Though I've been a Police (and other band) fan for decades, my first on-line fandoms were of the tv-media kind...that's how I ended up getting into working conventions (like the one I'm at this weekend, Shore Leave: http://www.shore-leave.com). I'm not really active in the media fandoms anymore but I used to be very involved in Babylon 5, Star Wars, Xena and a few others. Though it's how I got my job running one actor's official website.

There are a fair number of similarities but I must say I'm a lot happier hanging about in musicians' circles these days. My eyes were about to roll out of my head this afternoon if I had to overhear one more conversation about The Transformers or Stargate...

Cool. So you know all about other Cons and organizing them (and how much work it is!)

Shore leave looks great. I heart aaron Douglas. I was gutted when I found out the Chief was a cylon.
Thanks to Sockii (you rockii) for awesome Avatar photo!
