well, it's not technically great music and it's pretty corny, but i can't help myself because it grew up on it! my mother was a big fan of disco and it's in my blood.
jeffdaweasel Well, if I may be so bold, I think we discovered one certainty so far: none of us seem limited to a single genre of music in which we find enjoyment. That's very cool.

I think the fact that we all love the Police kind of pegs us as being able to appreciate a multitude of musical influences.
jeff, it's your thread.... where are you?

you know, i have a theory about that. i think that you are right in saying that being fans of the police, we like different types of music - they are very dynamic afterall. i also think that we are mostly in our 30's and 40's here (not to exclude anyone) and we grew up in a music explosion. music has spread out in our lifetime and we are young enough to have a disire to explore that. there are also so many types of media these days available to us. the fact that we are on this forum says that we love music. does that make sense?

GG, i'm glad you are embracing the past!

and from Austria I like Mozart's music.

To me Stewart's music is like Mozart's. Similar quality. Both genius!

dive, i love how you separated everything by genre. nice.
