Kel nailed it. I don't want Stewart to ignore his own unique artistic muse for the sake of the band. His vision doesn't have to be forced into that box for me to accept it. Primarily i want to see him doing what makes him happy, and i am suspecting that he's once again dealing with some of the creative limitations of group dynamics, especially one in which he isn't the dominant member per se.

The Police as a concept is big enough to sustain itself without continuous involvement from its members, who all have their own lives and careers. These aren't three young punks out of London anymore, but masters of their own industry.
