Jed, that would be awesome.

I gotta tell you, my GiTM bag is coming along swimmingly. Every now and then I surprise even me. ;)
I'd like an action figure of Stewart based off of DirtyMartini's avatar pic!
Oh yeah, that would be sweet. I could put Polo Stewart on my desk at work.

Hey, has anyone thought of bobbleheads? They could do a series.
Stew in blue polka dot shirt with Super 8 camera
Stew in green shorts, tube socks and yellow tee with sticks in hand
Stew in Rhythmatist outfit with boom mic and suitcase
Stew in Polo garb with mallet (or whatever it's called)
Stew in the black Grammy outfit with wirerim glasses and his "natural" hair color. Huge grin on face, arms raised.
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!

Bobbleheads! I love it!

But a Polo Stewart figure! Mardee, that's gorgeous.
Although now I've got "Be My Girl/Stewart" -- erm -- "Sally" in my head.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

If McFarlane did figures, i think i would want to see their looks from the Synchro II video. That was where they looked the most sci-fi/fantasy, super-heroic over-the-top. a look that lends itself well to action figures. Coming from McFarlane, they would be more like statues. Stewart on that mountain of drums!!! :)

OK, I'm not a fan of the Synch II video, but the mountain of drums would be pretty damn fantastic.

Erm, maybe it's just me, but it always seemed like Stewart & Andy were uncomfortable in those postmodern getups. I've not read any official interview commentary on the subject, though.

You mean this http://youtube.com/watch?v=sTxSTJxYYVQ ISN'T the quintessential Copeland style?!? (How pissed does he look in this video?)

I'm pretty sure that I had Andy's hairstyle back in the 5th grade.

Oh lord... the worst part is Andy miming the solo on that metal stick masquerading as a guitar. Stew just keeps his head down and imagines the prop snare is Stingo's face as he twats it repeatedly. I imagine. ;)

Irritatingly Stingo is the only one who really pulls it off, with his Feyd Rautha persona in full effect.

You know, honestly? The only thing I really don't like about that video is the focus on Sting at the expense of the other two. It's like Sting As Rock Star in full effect. Yeesh.

I dunno. Everybody says the personal interaction's better now and we have to take them at their word, I suppose...

I hadn't seen that video in AGES! Stingo's going thru his Dune/Billy Idol phase. After doing those bare bones it's-about-the-music videos they probably felt like complete dorks. Despite the couple of good songs on Sync, I personally feel they sold out at that point. EBYT is one of my least favorites songs of theirs. They were losing their edge and if they had stayed together it seemed like they were headed straight to mainstream popdom. *dodging dirty looks* This is not to say I wasn't totally bummed that they split up. Which makes this reunion all the sweeter.

The same sort of thing happened to Heart. Those Wilson girls are rockers. The 80's come along and they go all spandex and glitter and come out with love ballads. Yech! They rock with "Crazy on You" and "Barracuda" and Zep's "Rock and Roll." Rock on, girls!

Don't forget "Magic Man." Hot.

The 80s-style really ends up dating a few things. At the time it was all contemporary and stylish, but it just didn't have the substance or gravitas to withstand the decades. The "Synch II" video is a prime example of that (and of the scary Stingo stuff already mentioned). Plus, I'm pretty sure I had Andy's hair.

But since this is a thread about dream swag:

Stewart Copeland Chia Pet.

Thank God Stewart never went to the dark side with a mullet!

I like the Chia Pet, DM.

Oooh! A watch like Stewart's with one of his logos on the face and drum sticks for the hands!!!! I admit, I'm 42 but I'd wear it with casual outfits.

STEWART, I hope you're reading this thread! Not all of these are goofy pie-in-the-sky ideas!! We're brainstorming here!

SS, I like the way you think. I was just now rereading some of the swag ideas and was going to quote Divemistress's big black watch idea and add the horse logo. I dunno if the drumstick hands might be too much, but the logo silhouette would certainly make an excellent watch face.

And if we put together the SC underoos, SC polo shirt, SC watch, SC hat, and SC purse/tote/messenger bag/drum bag (whichever is most appropriate), we've almost got an ensemble. A pants-less ensemble, but an ensemble nonetheless.

OK, I may be a dork, but I'm not sure I'm a big enough dork to gear up in SC-wear from head to toe!!

Anyone here have an SC tattoo? Anyone?

Aw, come on, DM -- it's for Stewart! Show the love!

Besides, I've only got us covered from head to pudenda. That's why we need those SC tube socks!
