This was the best day of my life. I still can't quite believe I was there, at the foot of that stage, witnesing history in the making.

2007 is going to be amazing. So much thanks again to Gio and to Stewart for letting me be a part of it all.

(faints)

(revives somewhat)

(faints again)

Am I dreaming? Did I really get to see the Police today? Did I really hear they're headlining Bonnaroo?

And especially, did I just read we're getting more blog entries?

If this is a dream, I sure don't want to wake up, as the old blues song goes.

You guys, I wish I could put in words just how good this is going to be. When the promoter mentioned there'd be dates in Europe, Italy and Australia, we kind of couldn't help yelping a little (especially when Stewart started talking about Italy). I understand you could, um, hear it in the webcast...but we knew you'd be *so* happy.

(I kind of loved the 'Trey Anastasio' remark, myself...;))

I mentioned this earlier, but I am so glad that you 2 got to go.

Of course, I would prefer it had been me  , but if anyone else was going to win I'm glad it was you two. You are both so helpful to newcomers and such positive people on this forum. You really deserve it!

The Dear Leader quip killed me--Stewart was cracking me up!

I knew I didn't buy those new cymbals for a reason--planning on hitting Bonnaroo this time--the greatest Valentines Day Present ever!!!!!

I have had "Voices Inside My Head" in my head, on constant loop, ever since the webcast--I still can't believe what I saw. I can't imagine being there live--someone would have had to clean out my seat afterwards :)

Great to see the website winners on the webcast--Congrats again!!!!!

Roxanne song at the grammys sound like a derangement for me.

My kids told me that sounds like a new song, postmodern.

Let's stay on celebration with our lovely trio this 2007.

I thought the same thing, gg...the first jam very definitely sounded like a derangement. Hard for me to believe that would be an accident. Maybe we'll hear more from Stewart on this soon.

Thanks for the kind words, everybody. We appreciate it. And I should tell you that all the Sting.com people were really, really cool. We all had a great time hanging out all morning waiting to get in and being giddy together...it made things like 10x the fun. There are some stories related to that also, that we'll try to tell in the days ahead.

One of the Sting.com folks (her initials are Maggie) has the greatest Ghost in the Machine tattoo you have ever seen, and I'm pretty sure it made it into a couple of national news broadcasts.

Sockii's Police purse made the news a few times too, as did her smiling face as she gave the greatest interviews you have heard lately. Keep your eyes peeled, as there was international press all over the place and we may not have seen all the interviews and footage yet.

Friend of mine spotted another one of my interviews on Fox National news tonight, so yeah, sc.net got some serious representin'! :D

I'll be writing up a real report soon guys, I may just have to finally get a good night's sleep and a little time to wrap my brain around it all. I'm still decompressing.

Merci beaucoup et bravo to Stewart and Gio!

Glad to see The Police is still evolving.
Stewart, sorry to say that, but I don't think it's this year you will experience the decline: you're still on the top! Bravo!

And did you finally sleep? I was quite excited after the broadcasting, so I can imagine (can I really?) the excitement of the people who were really there... just in front of The Police. Wow!
