Now.... I didn't go to Hyde Park.... I was in Swansea seeing Elton John. supported by my new favourite band The Storys!

However I have my own tail to tell, which I think you guys will find funny!

First off I paid tribute to my favourite dummer!

http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z279 ... ium001.jpg

Second one of the girls from The Storys forum went to Hyde Park....

I text her and said..."If you see lots of peole in green waving a flag with a horse and rider on it go and say hello, tell them you are Kimmy's friend and they will welcome you with open arms..." (coz you're all lovely people I was sure you would...)

Anyway my concert was FAB! (not the police, but FAB all the same!) Then at 20.34 my phone goes with a message......

It's my friend at Hyde Park saying..." Your friends flag has just been on the big screen, they're very close to the front.... what's it all about!!?"

I let out a huge SQUEEEEE and everyone around me looked at me

My mum asked what was wrong (I've really hurt my back and shouldn't have gone... but what the hell! She thought something was wrong) till I told her so we SQUEEE together!!!

It was a great moment, two friends who love two bands interacting with each other at two concerts bloody miles from each other!!!

PRICELESS!!

Smax......

I am so glad you had such a great time, and I'm sorry I wasn't there with you..... Your account of the day was just so lovely, it bought back memories of my time with the flag..... it is just the best experience in the whole world!!

Ha and dafttart well done for staying so calm with the drunk woman.... Silly bitch!! At my gig the security guys had to carry one bloke out!! I never understand about getting so drunk you miss it? What is that all about? And what's the point? You pay all that money?

Anyway I'm so glad you all enjoyed yourselves..... I'm waiting for the photos.......

Kimmy

Someone got a great shot of the last flag point on british soil :-)

Please note I have no idea who took this, and haven't asked for permission to do anything with it, so don't nick it without asking them, ok?

Flipping amazing, smudge! What a great find! My heart skipped a few beats when I saw the picture and I wasn't even there. I hope smax hasn't gone into cardiac arrest.
