A report on The Japan Everyone Stares Dvd

Postby Three over Four on 13 Jul 2007 01:35

Methinks it's time to place an order from amazon.jp fo sho.
Dietmar: I just received my copy - it's got a beautiful cover, like so many of Japan's DVDs/records/magazines...
It's been a while since I've bought a Japanese import, but John Zorn's 'Masada' series were some downright beautifully made CDs. Hmm, I'll have to bust those out again for another listen...

I am seriously thinking about this. I think that you can always watch it on a computer, regardless of the zone.
It seems from what you all say that it is worth having it even if you have the English version...money well spent? :?: :?:

If you do a bit of googling, you can find ways to program your DVD player to become region free....kind of a neat trick.
To ones who's got & wiil get the DVD,
I translated some captions in "the long interview at LA" & "Stewart's days in Japan".
It's not necessary I think because it's easy to figure out from the context,
but here, just to remove some of your frustrations of not knowing what they are.
