Have a great tour! Thanks again for doing this. Stay safe and healthy. Keep the hairspray containers away from Sting.

See you in Chicago!

Rock on!

Stewart,

Just echoing what phaty said - thanks for making 2007 the best year ever! This is a dream come true for all of us here...I still have to keep pinching myself to believe this is all happening.

Have fun, kick ass, take no prisoners.

As Nigel and the rest of Spinal Tap said: "Rock n' Roll...Rock n' Roll...Rock n' Roll!" (just don't blow up!)

53 hours until the roof comes flying off GM Place! :D :D :D

Yes, ^what they all said. Plus, keep Andy in line. You know it's the "quiet ones" that are always the most trouble. :D And, thank you, thank you, thank you to you, Sting and Andy and everyone else involved in making 2007 a really wonderful year.

Warmest wishes to the best drummer in the world from the UK.

The wait is nearly over... I hope everybody has a great time in Vancouver and across the USA. See you in August at Giants Stadium!

...also Stewart, for the Canadian leg of this awesome adventure remember one tip.

I know you like Starbucks... but when you are really "baked" in the morning send Sting out to get you a Tim Hortins coffee. It's mega good. Us Canadians go through withdrawl when on vacation...most stash a tin in their luggage just to keep sane. Not that it's addicting or anything.

anyway, just thought y'know ..."when in Rome?"...wait ! that saying doesn't work, Roman coffee sucked !!! heh, heh.

From one coffee dude to another !

Cheers and Thanks to You, Andy and Stingo !

PS. is he really that happy? it's looks like blast !

Stewart

echoing the sentiments of this thread, good luck with the tour. we're all looking forward to it. just a few thoughts:

a>'on any other day' MUST be in the set list at some point
b>if you dont know what to do with any drum equipment you'll no longer use after the tour, i can probably find a home for it, and replace some of my existing kit with it. at no charge to you :D
c>every night that you hit that stage, no matter where it is, and no matter how you play, you guys are fulfilling LIFE-LONG dreams of countless thousands of people. like serious, rare, 'holy-shit-i-can't-believe-this' stuff, the kind of thing people experience maybe 5 or 6 times in their short human existence, right up there with babies, and marriages and that type of shit. being able to spread that kind of extreme joy is an unbelieveably rare opportunity. being the intelligent fellow, if you really think about it, it's probably like one in a few hundred million.

so - dig it, love it, remember it, all 3 of you guys. what a fricking gift.

cant wait for the aug 3 MSG show - THE POLICE RETURN!!!

thank you
Thanks Stewart!

Hi Stewart!

If this tour brings you even a fraction of the happiness you have given to all of us who feared we would never see it happen, then it will be a resounding success!! You have rocked our world in the best way imaginable!

As for the big wardrobe question...shorts? tube socks? leotard?!...that's up to you! I just want to see that "Grammys grin" that suggests you're as elated by all this as we are!

I wish you many golden days ahead, filled with love, laughter and happiness. Thank you so much!

May 30 Vancouver

Postby VancouverCanada on 27 May 2007 00:05

Hi Stewart:

I'm going to the fanclub show on May 27th and then... taking my Mom to the May 30th show...

*** front row floor on May 30 for Mom's 75th birthday!!!!!!! ***

Never saw you guys in concert before -- totally missed out (my first concert was not until 1984 & you last played Vancouver in 1983). REALLY looking forward to these shows.

Looks like you've been getting exceptional Vancouver weather for your stay.

Thanks for picking Vancouver to open your tour! :)
