After I wrote a reply, saw thread that prompted this one. Discouraging. People allow The Fool to take them over and say/do the crassest things. LA and JB, really most folks on this site are fine, just music fans. Hopefully the negative ones just stay off. Sorry that y'all had this go on around y'all, terrible.

Thanks for that...it's that whole racist thing that get's under my skin the most. My godparents are black and so this means a large part of my extended family is black too...I just thought the world moved on from it...but I forget there are still horrible people because I live in this bubble called 'JemmaLand'. Didn't Mr. Copeland go to UC Berkeley in the early 70's? My godfather was a radio dj on some radio station in Berkeley from the late 60's to mid 70's...hmmm...he's the one who turned me on to the reggae...so all my life I've been listening to that form of music...but I dig all kinds...classic child born under the Leo sign in 1970 in Northern California...raised by surfing hippies mom and dad and artist godparents who were and are extremely liberal.

Did I see the word 'black' there is no black in this world for we are all brown, no such thing as white! Every person in this world is brown in some sort of way...... that is the way i was taught as a Christian

Oh, and also...my Godparents are black. My extended family is black. Here in America, that is not a bad word. Believe me, if it had been a problem, my very black family would have disowned me. On this forum there is someone who has been a problem, and a racist in the truest of form, and he made a very ill post (among many) that was racist. It was targeted at me, so I merely brought up my black Godparents. So...deal with it? I'm not the racist.

Sorry do get carried away on this subject....not you sweetie.....others who can not get passed the colour of people's skin

It is who you are inside that counts

I have removed deal with it for it had come out wrong and there is nothing wrong with black either just wanted you to know we are not all like that, always be proud of who you are and hold your head up high and i am sorry you were subject to that kind of thing

I was noticing that things have gotten more, um, excitable here lately, and I haven't seen it like that since I joined a little over a year ago. I was wondering if that was unusual, but after reading some older posts, I see now that it's not really.
