Im pretty sure Stewart is doing the lower vocal harmony on the chorus of Bombs Away (0:36), because i dont know if Sting can actually sing that low. Listen closely there's someone singing under the verse too that sounds a lot like Stewart doing KK style harmonies.

Ram-Ram,

As a former backing vocalist (yep yep, brag-brag, self-important- twat) I can tell you that the man with the lower singing register in the P'leece is Andy.

In BOTN, he sings the chorus 1 octave below Sting. He's also the one who harmonizes occasionally live, usually taking the lower harmony So when you hear a very low voice in the Police, it's 99% like it's Andy.

I am having a tough time hearing the God of Thunder's voice in Gradenko... It all sounds like Sting to me.

On a side note, why is Sting recording his album in LA? Consider the rumor pot foolishly stirred 8)

I love all songs with his voice,
but I really like Stewart's voice with The Police in Darkness.

Good to hear from you, Georgygirl.

Does Stewart sing more than backgorund in Sarkness? I am trying to hear Start there and mostly I hear Sting.

Ok, people:

Stew is the 2nd voice in MG
Stew is the 2nd voice in Darkness
Stew is the low harmony in Bombs Away

AND...

The only time Stew is on Masoko Tanga is the count-off at the beginning. Same in Reggatta de Blanc.

Hello njperry:

I am here again, and good to read many things about our lovely musician Stewart.

About this:

Cool information zilboy.

Anyway, in Darkness Sting sang too, but that darkness feeling wich I identify it, is a complete Stewart's feeling, if you can catch my feeling.

Does anybody know something about 'On Any Other Day song voices? To me in this song is like a postmodern feeling about any other day life of someone.

Listen to the line "Nobody but us in here" in the chorus. I think that's where it comes through clearest for me.
