Stewart making in store appearance to promote his new CD!!!!

(calming down; nitro tab under tongue taking effect)

Classic over reaction by the EQ (I hope). Now you know why some many of my calls to Mrs. EQ go straight to voicemail.

I don't have a Blackberry or iPhone (holding off cuz you know Apple will come out with a new and improved version within a year that will blow the doors off the current one; 8 G memory? please). Since I think Demo Gal will not be showing up until later in the day, I was hoping to maybe call her periodically before she headed down so that she could post some updates. have not heard from her yet about this plan.

Ahem...I'd certainly wait a tiny bit before buying an iPhone [from paralegal to lawyer: ain't say no' mo']. Especially since the current price is $500.

Seriously. If someone showed up today and wasn't just confused on the date, that's a kind of krazy I almost have to give credit to.

(But why is Pink Floyd's "Run Like Hell" suddenly stuck in my head?)

Them iPhones are SOOOOOO tempting though. My brain tells me that 8 gig aint nearly enough but then I get hypnotized at the Apple store looking at all the feature. But then I think about what I would have done if I got an iPod before it had color video and was just black and white with not even photo capabilities.

SRSLY. I'm still working on my old white 4GB Ipod with nothin' but music capability. That's all I wanted it for and all I need it for still.

As much as I love Apple products and think they've been a big innovator, the iPhone has been a bit of a disappointment to me in its limitations: one provider, battery isn't user-serviceable, it's unable to access AT&T's new high speed EDGE 3G network, no voice dialing, no SD slot, no support for mp3 ringtones, unable to transfer files via bluetooth, etc. I'm sure some of these shortcomings will be addressed in future editions, but I think there is a good chance some competitors will be able to get similar products out there that will include these features, like this cool Nokia internet tablet that will becoming out next year: http://www.linuxdevices.com/news/NS8069179684.html

4 gig? I'm sure you probably have more than 4 gig in Police related music alone!

I only really use it for the gym and walkabout, so it gets a rotating selection.

I have a 120GB external harddrive just for music backup at this point...
