:cry: Sorry to hear this, Dive. If you can stomach it, both raw onions (fresh chopped) AND raw fresh garlic have great anti-microbial properties, ingested and on a cut abrasion. The Brits used raw fresh chopped garlic pre-penicillan in the awful WW 1 wounds their boys received, even to stop gangrene! I have used fresh garlic swallowed w/ LOTS of warm H2O, and bioactive plain yoghurtduring food poisoning, worked well w/ healing more quickly afterwards.

Oh, love the helmet-during-tornados idea :wink: -gotta' try that next time :D

OMG, you poor thing! I had just plain old run of the mill food poisoning once and wanted to die. I hope you get better very soon. NEVER, EVER trust a Chicken McNugget - I haven't had one in 8 years; last time I did, whatever was beneath that saturated fat coating looked nothing like chicken and had a consistency I have never before encountered. For reals, my heart - and stomach - go out to you.

Thanks so much, everybody. I'm still pretty out of it - mostly just dizzy and lightheaded, nothing serious, but I'm getting pretty sick of sitting around the house. Although I *am* getting some hardcore Xbox gaming done. ;)

Man. I just used to wonder how people would get soooo sick from eating bad food. Now I guess I know. And I can't imagine I'll be eating chicken anytime soon.
