I saw ES:TPIO last night... well, not exactly the DVD, the premiere in Barcelona instead  Stewart, why did you say you don't look good smiling, so you appeared "serious" in all pics??? We were delighted seeing you smile all the time, you were very, very funny and candid with the audience, presenting the movie. And the movie is GREAT. GREAT. GREAT. I felt, for a while, 20 years younger. The best "lifting for the soul", ever. Thanks for this experience.
I'm still in Barcelona, visiting a friend (that was the excuse!). I still have in my ears the songs and remixes of the film... I have to go back home and to the real world soon... :(

Promotion is so hard. Not all people get it.

When I asked about 'Everyone Stares DVD, the guy said,

-Nah, I don't think we have it.

-Could you check it in your computer as Everyone Stares?

He checked and said another Everyone Stares movies that aren´t the one that I want.

-Checked by Stewart Copeland.

-You mean Police's drummer.

I said -Yes

So he gave me an uncredible sight. and with a strange face checked in one computer and found it, but he still don't believe about the fact, so he checked in another computer.

Finally he said:

-Is strange but here said that we have one item, and I never hear about it.

So the guy go to find it in the DVD section, with me walking beside him, and told me:

-WOW, I never knew about this product and I really like Police's music...

He read all Stewart's words in the DVD and said,

-This will be my Cristhmas gift.

Promotion: "Longlasting work"

We fans can make it continuos.

Then I went with my mom:

-Mom, I found gold here and I showed my Everyone Stares DVD.

My Mom face was,

-Is that really gold?

So my sister said:

-Mom, we always know that is georgy's passion, so for her that really means gold.

I really like the movie. Especially with Andy's and Stewart's commentaries.

Andy is a baby face man. He always looks so young. The way he played guitar is awesome.

For me, The special thing in this movie, is that is a new perspective view of a band. How he raised from the begining to the top but from the inner side of one of its member. This is very interesting not just for Police's fans, but also to teenagers that are creating its music band.

Where are all those girls that loved that much "The Police"?
Are they still hearing Police's music like I have been doing since long time ago?

The creating visual effects with cars, buildings and lights reminds me Beatle's movies.

Postmodernism?

New film Art?

Avant garde?

Art Deco?

Who knows?

Today I bought and saw the DVD - it´s great and unusual Stuff, I think. I enjoy it very much. Next Time I´ll see it again with Andy´s and Stewart´s Audio Commentary.

I´m a little disappointed of the Live Bonus Material. Some Tracks are less than 10 Seconds "long". Does anyone understand, what this means?

But the DVD is very authentic, I nearly smell the Scenes. And I enjoy very much the Mixes of the Police Stuff, Stewart created. Hope, it is anytime anywhere available as Audio Files.

you couldn't record too much on super 8, so whoever filmed these short live snippets just recorded fragments... I guess there isn't more to see

Yes, I think the bonus live stuff are fragments of the reels that did not fit in the film and were cut. I would have preferred that the entire shots would be put in the extra live stuff, because now if you want all of a live footage you have to copy a piece from the film and the other from the bonus and join them.

Gracias Stewart!!

This Copeland's derangements are great and many Police's fans wants it in a record, but is not easy. As Stewart said, his pals (Andy & Sting) put out the red light about this recording, and he also understand their reasons...

Such is life
