Somebody really needs to get the SC.net logo with the horse.

Or hell, the flag. I vote for DM or Moe. Even if neither of them is game, I'd love to hear why or why not.

;)

I think the logo would make a great tramp stamp.

I have been seriously contemplating getting the "logo". However I have been apprehensive as I do not want to upset anyone or cause conflict by doing that.

Heh. Way back I said that if the flag made it, I'd get that sucker tattooed to my arm; life and circumstance have delayed things, but I still plan to. Mo is going to make some modifications for me, though. I test-drove the original for a couple of days, but for me the logo is just too solid and too (sorry, Stewart) Stewarty: it felt uncomfortable and creepifying. I could do a drum or gong or something non-human-specific, but hell, I wouldn't get a tattoo of my own husband's silhouette on my arm, so much as I admire and am grateful to Stewart, having one of someone I've barely met is just more than I can do. When Mo has some time, he's going to design a personalized, stylized version of the logo for me instead, something that suggests the horse logo and says "flag" but that for me doesn't feel quite so "restraining order."
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Excellent. And I knew the explanation would be worth any delays...lucky for me I asked on a night you logged on.

Maybe M would be brave enough to post ideas here for folks to weigh in? I would imagine his creative process would be quite interesting to follow.

That is exactly why I didnt want to get that specific tat done. I figured it would create some issues. I figured it safe to say I have contemplated the idea, but never struck out and did it. Definitely don't want to be "restraining order like"

I am excited to see what Mo comes up with for you. That will be awesome for sure.

Totally your call, Shannon. Above is just my own feelings. On me the unadulterated logo felt really uncomfortable -- but obviously others might not feel that way. To each his own.

Heheh. The collaborative creative process in our house is a lot of descriptions, hand gestures, arguing, tweaking, frustration, the phrases "you're not listening," "I've been doing this for a while," "I just said that . . . ," and "I know what I'm doing" popping up, heated discussion, font arguments, more tweaking, beer, more tweaking, somewhere in there Mo performs a creative miracle, and eventually a finished product emerges.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
