I got my Mom into Oysterhead, it's weird. She still dosen't like Stewart's other stuff, or The Police, but she loves Oysterhead.

Really Mrs. G.

Well I have something in common with your Mom. Now I know she like good and pure rock and roll music

It's weird, I've never known her to be interested in stuff I like.

But I gave her my old mp3 player, with music loaded, and now she's like, "Now I see why you never want to take these out of your ears."

Of coarse part of that is I downloaded some of her favorite books as audio books, and stuck thoes in there.

It's sick how obsessed I am with music. I just opened Itunes, and I have...3687 songs on there. I'll probably dump on some more here shortly.

i was right there in the same place at one time, and am currently headed straight back there. except for me, its still cd's. i will amass a collection by a given artist and then sit and stare at the cases all stacked up, or the pages and pages of the discs themselves in my binder, and wish there were more to buy!

it was easier to justify when i was still trying to pick a musical direction for myself, but i did that a while back, and these days its more for just entertainment. it's like drugs, i tell ya...

I can't go anywhere without my ipod anymore, without it, I feel like I forgot my keys or my wallet...

I know what you mean. I'll go through all my favorite artists stacks at the cd shop, everytime I'm there, just hoping there will be a miracle and I happened to have missed one. But of coarse, I never have.

It's on 'You Can't Fight...' isn't it? I can't think how it goes now - I'll have a listen when I get home. He is such an awesome drummer too, especially the stuff on House of GVSB.
