Thanks, buttercup. I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Much appreciated.

And no worries -- newbies get to vote, too.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Suggestion: Forum posters donating their own original songs to make a charity CD, and proceeds go to the Flag fund.

Maybe even Stewart could throw in something as well...?

Thanks for letting us know what's up, and I think it sounds like a fine choice for many reasons. Given we are such an international community, an organization with international outlook is perfect.

DM and Nancyrose, hats off for your perseverance! THANK YOU :D

Great charity - count me in. However I have to draw the line at Smudge's idea of the Great North Run. Suffice to say that there are parts of me that are not built for running  I'll walk/cycle/swim until the cows come home, but running...

I've said it before, but DM, WHERE DO YOU FIND THE TIME?????? xx

I don't run (unless being chased by bears, cougars or wennie dogs).

But as Ian holds a special place in my rock-n-roll heart, I'd be happy to donate.

Thanks for this information.. I am definitely IN on this donation thing. I really love the idea for a music CD... I have never really thought about recording before. I only sing and I have a keyboard. My kids just recently asked me to put some songs on a CD for them. Mommys originals and a few of their favorites for bedtime.
Sounds like fun. A new Venture for me.

Very nice idea and a good choice. More attention is needed for this, IMHO. Thanks for your work on it!
