*ducks and runs for cover*
HA!

I'm actually glad that they're FINALLY fleshing out this leg cuz NOW I can actually make some real arrangements.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

It seems San Antonio is the final stop for the US.

BTW- All Best Buy Presale Codes are available and the tickets go on presale TOMORROW AT 10AM. Already got my code just in case. :D

The wife is totally for it- we're just trying to figure out the kids situation. She actually has Wed through that weekend off from work for Thanksgiving, and I can probably take Wed off myself.

This is where robot baby sitters come in handy. Why are they not available yet?!?!

Am I having a "senior" moment or is it my memory that the boys always use to play less West Coast dates?
I remember the Synchronicity tour. In Los Angeles they played one night or maybe two at Hollywood Park, a race track across the street from the Forum(so close they shared parking lots) where the Lakers played and most rock concerts were held at the time. Hollywood Park was a very odd place to hold a concert, especially for a band that was the biggest rock band on the planet at the time, and to the best of my knowledge it was the only time a rock concert was held there and in fact I think the only concert ever held there.
My friends and I all went to the concert. We of course loved it but I remember we all thought with this quite possibly the end they would have to come back and play the Forum for a few nights or Dodger Stadium or something else(maybe the Colosseum where Bruce played the following year, 1984). Something with better sight lines. I remember trying to figure out why the back up vocals sounded female when the show started, the back up girls were blocked from my view by a pillar or something. We thought there would be another big LA show especially with the Shea Stadium shows and all the big east coast shows. But they never came back to LA for almost twenty four years.

From what I've heard, the added MSG show on Nov 2 is NOT going to be the final MSG show>>>look for the boys to play the Garden on New Year's Eve, 12/31!!

Great! Like yet another NY date makes us happy....
Throb, I heart you very very much. And it's kind of a consolation to think it's not the first time [nor it's me, Max Taffey! :P ]
Maybe it's logistics, maybe the air it's too dry for Stingo's throat, because there is hardly less money here to make.

Don’t mean to ramble on. My story had a happy ending. After 24 years the boys did came back, I got to see them twice in one week and meet Andy. So we all lived happily ever after. :)
As my wife says be happy with what you got, appreciate it, don’t be greedy.
Of course she is right as she always is but……..
I need to go again!
Seriously, I think in 2008 we are going to see a triumphant return to the West Coast perhaps to wrap it all up.
And it will be so easy to tell the wife, “Well, dear it has been almost a year and this is the end of the tour so of course I have to spend the money on tickets…..”
Crap, I'm really in a muddle now.

Definitely going to 10/31 & 11/14 - have those tickets already.

HAVE to be in San Francisco 11/1 - 11/4, so those dates in there are a wash for me. Was hoping DC would be the 6th, as I just don't see myself doing the red-eye back from San Fran Sunday night after working three days just to jump on a train down to DC.

*sigh*

Debating just doing Stubhub now to get a ticket for Boston, so I can get in a third show this fall, since I don't see the other dates really working for me.

Don't forget that the Bellydance Superstars are going to be in town around the same time. In fact they have a show the same day as the Police concert at the Verizon Center and one the day after. I think I'll be taking most of that week off ;)

Wahooo!

I was agonizing about how to get tickets for Atlanta, and they went and planned another date. Now I can hit the presale.

I'm so nervous about the presale. I've never done this before and it's at 9:00 a.m., right when I have my daily meeting with my boss...Hmm. I just don't want to screw up because I have literally prayed that they would add a date in Atlanta.

Sorry to see there was no west coast date. That really sucks. They've played like twenty times on the east coast. Being in the middle we are used to being ignored in flyover land, but it must be harder to bear when you are living in Stewart's backyard.

Poor Kaly and Krok and Demo Gal... I feel your pain.

Ah, it's tempting, really tempting, but I'd just feel so bad blowing off my friends in San Fran who I only see once a year if I don't stay through Tuesday. (Unless it turns out for some reason I *can't* spend a couple days mooching off their generosity after I'm done working a convention that weekend).

So I'm gonna pass on buying tickets for now and if things DO work out that I can make it, I'll leave my fate up to the Stubhub gods. They've been very good to me so far this year...
