In B3 about mid way back I think, next to a sting fan ;-)

I have warned her...

 you should get a decent view of the big fella from there even if Sting will be in front of you!

Look forward to meeting you in the pub for a swift pint or 3 :D
Eeek! Just bought a ticket for saturday as well. I mean, it is so much more important than paying the council tax, don't you think?
:D
Smart lady.

(Apologies for the following OT moment, Hannah:)

BTW, smudge, sweetheart -- you are in desperate need of an avatar.

Now clearly this wouldn't be a first date, but I think you need to be well into double figures before risking that.
Smudge you are so fuckin' right lady! I really don't think he's ready to see me in white shorts and tube socks crying all over a flag...

Some things are definitely best kept private for a while :)

Like I said to DM earlier. WATERPROOF MASCARA ladies :D

And Hannah - warn us if your new man is coming to the pub before hand, so we can behave....

hannah - sorry for continued OT.

Yup I know DM. I need to ask sockii nicely if I can borrow her awesome 'black hole staring' thingy from her site.

Right - cake. Monday 10th. Dafttart if I can find a good polish cafe with firewater behind the bar, how does that sound? I've taken the day off, so anyone who wants to join me feel free.

It occured to me today that it was much simpler last time I went to a police concert. My best mate's brother and his friend drove us up to Wembley. I had a ten pound note in my shoe at my mother's insistence in case the boys got 'frisky' and I had to decline a ride home (bless her).

This time I'm trying to work out night buses, daytime buses, arch support in shoes, waterproof mascara, oooh - what if it rains?, because I know I have to plan ahead. Unlike last time, someone's 18 year old brother isn't going to scrape me off the floor and take me home. Damn. I loved being 14.

OMG I am so up for that! If my other half gets his leave agreed for Monday, I'll be there drinking the old firewater and scoffing cake - all for medicinal reasons  If not, I'll be at home singing Police songs to my 2 toddlers

I love the description of your trip back from Wembley. (I wonder if we went on the same night??) I can't even remember how I got home, but I know that I didn't have to sort it out myself. As you say, the joys of being a teenager... *sigh*

Vodka, cake, coffee, similarly scrambled fans I can do. I can probably find somewhere that does all the above and is toddler friendly so we can all sing badly at dafttart's kids. But stewart is not on the menu....
