That is an unforgettable quote, Jose.

I wish you, your family, and your fellow countrymen the best of luck and safety as you get back onto your feet.

I'm thinking about you and now I'm really glad you're ok!!!
Post here something about this horrible event and maybe STEWART can read your words and they can devolve one south american concert to the families of all death persons.....maybe....maybe....dear Jose. I think we can try even if it will be difficoult, but sometimes dreams became reality.

Jose, I'm relieved to hear that you are OK, but I know how scary and horrible the earthquake is.....
I too woke up this morning with my house trembling by the earthquake(twice), it was a minor one and of somewhat " familiar" scale,
but it always makes me think "this may be the last day......" when it begins.
Take care, be safe,

from another earthquake country,
Uccellina

well nothing happened while I sleep at night... but news at morning tells the number of deads occured with this POWERFULL Earthquacke increased in 337 in all Peru and 1,300 people hurts and lot of infraestructure damages... specially on "Ica" (department - next to Nazca Lines) in Lima some walls fall down from the hiphodrome, some old public buildings, an avenue next to the coast line of commercial district of Miraflores, and the Panamericana highway was brocked

some big waves cover some meters of districts of Lima situated next to the beach, on state or department of Ica is the most affected area, also people who lives in poverty...more deaths are from hearth attacks, or walls fall down...during the earthquacke in some districts of Lima people saw lights like thunders is a phenomena realted with earthquacke says experts...some of these was filmed by TV

some other stories to tell, my brother who stayed at his office in the top of a 15 floor building needs to go under by steps, cause the elevator no function, her wife who is pregnant was at the same moment of the earthquake at a giant mall while his kid studied at the house of a friend...hopefully they were reunited well.

my home ( of two floors) not present any damages in it structures, cause as the majority of homes and buildings in the district I live all are made by
bricks walls, in spite of the fact during the earthquacke all moved... and I felt on the floor outside home that I am surfing over the earth...

besides, when I return to my gym - some minutes after the earthquacke - cause I have a meeting with a friend for making some cardio and abs, I found only five guys lifting weights ( my buddy never came) one of them is a french friend who lives in Paris and spend his vacation here in Lima - San Borja (my district or neighborhood) When I requested about his first experience about an erthquacke he said me was their second one... and the powerfull earthquacke caught him in the enter of the gym... but he smiles me that nothing happened and continue making his pull-ups into the hammer machine... some minutes after another earthquacke happened

News told us earthquackes from yesterday that moved the planet started in Japan - Tokyo with an earthquacke of around 5 ritcher scale, then earth moved in Hawaii with another one of around 3 richter scale...20 minutes after the earthquakes of Lima from around 7,6 and 7,9 Richter scale
