will co-inside with some exciting releases.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, this news gets the full treatment: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Especially since the new version of "Truth" is my favorite of all the songs in the live set this year....(I know some people find it boring, I think it's mournful in a really delicious way...)
On Google - site:stewartcopeland.net "your keyword here" - thanks DM!!

Craig many thanks for the update - really great news about the single. These snippets are great updates for us core fans.

I've just downloaded Atlanta '86 though not a great recording wow the audience sound like they are having a ball.....

And the band are playing at blistering speed especially Message in a bottle..... sounds just fabulous.
All the best.

Thanks for the update, Craig! Truth is also one of my favorite songs on the tour. Will the single have any other tracks? It would be great if it included some live tracks recorded during the first leg of the tour, especially CSLY/Regatta. Do we know who is producing it?

Can't wait to hear about the other upcoming releases which I hope will arrive in time for the second US leg which is right before X-mas shopping season when a lot of things like box-sets are released!
ps It was meant to say July, for some reason I said June. Apologies.
Not at all! July 18 makes total sense. Even over-achievers like The Police would have had one hell of a time recording on one coast in the a.m. and performing nearly on the other in the p.m.

Thanks for the info, Craig.

And thanks for the link, Steve.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Quick rxn to the show:
By far, the BEST version of Wrapped ever. Why they don't play it like this all the time is beyond me.
EBYT is actually listenable when it is played faster.

I used to think that the Giants stadium Conspiracy show was their best. Guess I was just proved wrong.

For this first reunion gig, did it feature kenny kirkland as in the last 86 gig from NJ? or was it pure Police?

thanks for your information craig - we hang on your every word!!

however - IMO, *all* of the 1986 gigs, including the first one (which i just uploaded a recording of to dime recently) are terribly marred by the needless presence of kenny kirkland. this was an obvious 1986 era sting-solo-addition and he waters the sound down. god, his keys in 'roxanne' turn it into michael-bolton territory.... sorry, just my 2 cents...

re: frejus 1980, this IS the one that should be released, and represents the band in all of its most Police-ish glory - and has a very angry sting, to boot. completely agree with you craig. i will gladly offer to help in any way at all to help ensure a release, with petitions, etc. this one is the best way to go. god, i'd kill for a full dvd recording of this one.

Craig. This brightened my first day of work after almost a week.
I hear you. THE would be fantastic, sang in the right octave again. I iPodded all the Police work on the way home. It would be amazing to have it on DVD. Officially.

hugs,

K
