Flag? What flag?

Postby Moeskido on 31 Jul 2007 03:47

Sockii, if I hadn't seen Stewart in Philly with my own eyes, playing connect-the-dots, I'd be a lot more envious of you right now. Still very envious, though. Of course.

An excellent evening's report. One I'm sure I'd have been much more fuzzy with.

SOCKII RULES!

Thanks socki for the ticket, the report, everything! It was great to meet you and vespapod and put a face to a name.

Great report, great show, awesome time. I ended up staying out way too late with the tpt crowd after the show. It was, ummmm, interesting.

there are some fun people on there, and most hold our boy in very high regard. But the sc.net wingnuts still make me feel more at home.
:)

Thanks sockii, thanks DM, and thanks Stewart![/i]

You're welcome, MTJ! Although . . . you do realize that I wasn't in Boston, right?!? I mean, you were priiiiitty toasty -- perhaps you were conjuring up visions of me? :P
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Dear DM,

I was toasty night #1. one beer night #2 (till after the show).

After the show, I went to meet the Sc.neters and ended up spending loads of time with tpfc ers..... it was, ummm, interesting. and I got drunk. and then had an 8 am meeting. ugh.

Dm, I meant thank you for being the wingnut you are and dreaming up (with moeskido) and organizing this whole thing. We are all drawn to each other by Stewart, but stay so close because we are kindred spirits in many ways.

Thanks for giving us a symbol to rally around and show our love. for stewart, this board and each other.

(ok, so as not to be dribbly, must say FUCK daweasel. there. i.feel.better.)

You are a riot girl. What a fun night!

We aren't so bad over there on that TPT site. :D

We want you to come back in November.

Moe, it takes brains and talent- so you two must be a great team!

Thanks Lisa, I would love to come to the Gahden- not sure though. I'll be in Boston in October but not sure I can make it back for the shows. I'll try though.
We need to hit Daisy's again. but maybe one beer at a time this time.

Everyone was very nice to me from the tpt site- I just didn't get all the in jokes tho. But those guys didn't get Lue Anne :?

Ok, have been working and not had time to expound (or call Betsy/policerule back girlfriend!)

but if you want to know what I got up to Sunday night, you might want to check out the tpt.com thread
http://www.thepolice.com/members/commun ... ic=253.660
about page 45....

ummm, yep. that is me. but it's not my good side. And I said I was sober FOR that show. Not after.

I guess I need to tell you all my "REAL POLICE" story and how I got "arrested" for the cameras.
but only if you are interested....

Brilliant, Sockii!! Fantastic report of both the trip & The Show!!
And after all the effort you've put into attending shows & posting, you deserved every stickpoint & shout out!
AM not sure if I can get to another show, but hearing your report, along w/ the others', is a nice consolation.
Once again, The Flag is such a great way to show a little extra for Stewart. What's the possibility of an "OmegaMan" banner of some sort also? I love me a Stewart, but Andy sure deserves a little somethin' too maybe.......? Just a thought.
Fantastic post, Sockii, Thanx again!! Great Flag work. 8)

Thanks falcon! (And everyone else).
