Since I don't have cable I was depending the NBC broadcast to come through with my Police fix for tonight. F'ing lame. They show Message and that's it. And really no good shots of Stew that I saw. What a waste of my time. Sting should cut out interviews and any unnecessary talking effective immediately. Rest that voice. On a different note, how was Spinal Tap?

The show was nice, but since Message ......it was a disaster, Sting has a problem with your voice.......Stew and Andy OK

I feel bad for Sting. His voice wasn't there tonight throughout the set and he knew it. Synth pedals are completely ridiculous - please stop using it Sting unless you're trying to piss Andy off on purpose.

Stewart sounded great and Andy was the only one who cracked a smile tonight. Zero energy from Sting and the crowd. Andy made some mistakes but I think I'm just a critical fan.

I know they've sounded better on this tour.

Hope the voice gets some rest!

Is it not on YouTube already?

I guess I didn't mind the Kanye rap. Hell, it's an all-star show. Mix it up a little.

I'll agree it's not the best performance I've seen Sting do, but Stewart and Andy tore it up. Again.

The boys were in great form. That is, until that clusterfuck happened with Kanye West. He stunk on ice.
Whose bright idea was that to have him jump onstage?

He was sand in the vasoline.

I didn't hate MIAB, but then I don't hate Kanye and John Mayer like many do ,<giggle> and I actually posted earlier that I thought Kanye put on one heck of a show earlier, but its unmistakable that Sting sounded a bit taxed (more tea with honey!!). I don't anyone could have avoided notice. However, the main thought in my head was why the didn't bring anyone else on stage for Bonnaroo?!! <GRIN>

DirtyMartini: Hope you goy back and fared the traffic safely! We sure hope you got to rock it like a bit!!

Stewart sounded freaking nuts and Andy really ripped too! Really enjoyed it overall, the finale kinda reminded me of like earlier tours where they had all the IRS bands they were playing with on stage for like So Lonely, but differernt times and all...

Other highlights besides the Police: RHCP, Foos, Pumpkins, Metallica, Beasties, Spinal Tap with Metallica joining them, LOL, and Madonna with Gogol Bordello joining her! A F'IN RAWKING DAY OVERALL!!!

I'm all for musical collaboration, but I don't think there is anything "musical" about Kanye. A dude jumping around totally disregarding melody and yelling "huh" to puncuate Sting's lyrics is not my idea of musical collaboration.

Why couldn't tht idiot join Kelly Clarkson's set and leave the Police alone. Who gives a rats ass if he ruins Kelly Clarksons crappy tunes.

I know. Stingo was cracking big time. I'm glad they've cut the Unplugged thing now. He looked a bit disturbed by it. Andy loosened up after Driven. He tends to have a deer-in-the-headlights look before he gets rockin.
Stewart was gra-ate (natch ;) I'm ticked by the camera angles though. They were all behind and around the Duran Duran and Bon Jovi drummers. I was thinking, "Cool. I'll see The Master working close up." Wrong.
I dunno. Don't shoot me now, people, I wasn't blown away with their mini-set. They were good. But not GREAT. They did 4 songs and got stuck with John Mayer and Kenye West on Message. Couldn't they have done 1 or 2 more? Maybe it was due to Sting's voice. Pink Floyd did a great set complete with a floating pig and little singing kids. I'm glad I wasn't there all day waiting to hear them expecting to hear alot of songs. Which is not to say there wasn't a lot of other good stuff going on. It would've been like expecting a stupendous Orgasm and getting , "No really. It was great."

That being said, I can NOT wait for the Cleveland show.
STINGO: rest the voice! No talking (or yelling at Stewart;)

Just my 2.5 cents.

Love you Stewart. Love you Sting. Love you Andy.
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!
