Awesome story, I can totally picture exactly how you felt! :) You are most welcome, and I think you found the right place amongst fellow crazy drummer and Stewart fans here. ;)

LOL, ya, anyone just arriving who manages to stick around through the tube-sock avatar barrage is right at home! PS: Anthony your 'suggestive' avatar is one of the best, LOL...I crack up everytime I see it, not that I'm laughing at yer gams, it's just hysterical...it's the Stewart-nerd equivalent of posing on a car or something, tube socks draped over the kit! <grin>

Yeah, and when people meet up at concerts they'll have to wear thier designated tube socks so others will be able to recognize them...so look for the green pom poms in Houston...kidding! <grin>

GREAT, GREAT STORY.

This is the one palce where many will understand your feelings. Being a full grown adult and then regressing into a slobbering, sobbing teenager !

I would have been stammering...ah..ummm....Stew...uhh....

Welcome buddy !

GinaSuperCat got the acronym. I just felt it was totally appropriate. I'll dust off the tube socks and the tequila tomorrow night. I need a few belts before what I fear is the last Police concert I'll ever see......

Hi FOYC.... Great story!! At least you managed a few words.... If I was ever to meet Stewart I think it might go something like this....

Stewart "Hi"
Kimmy " :D  :D "
Stewart "Nice to meet you"
Kimmy "   "
Stewart "Anyway better go" Walks off shaking his head......
Kimmy "   "

Kim

Surprisingly, none of us have been geekified enough to do a mathematical analysis of how often SC posts. (Although I'd bet good money that a few of us COULD do it.)

The best answer is occasionally, FOYC. You never know when you're going to find the golden ticket. Er, golden tongue.
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.
But...my wife then walks up and says "Honey, I told you to stop stalking Stewart!" Ha ha honey. You just lost your allowance this month.

Moral of the story: The Drum God was totally cool and a pleasure to meet. Hope you liked the story and that you all get a chance one day to meet one of the most down to earth rock stars on the planet.
LMAO! Love the story. Welcome to the board FOYC.

Stewart posts sporadically. After the press and his last post, I don't expect to hear from him in a while (and can totally understand why). But you never know, he could surprise us when we least expect it.
