I think that for Mrs. Gradenko is just the leather jacket. (retro look)

Aw, I love this photo. I saw a photo of Stewart's son Jordan somewhere and Dad is right...he does look kinda just like him.

It's weird to think about how long ago these photos were taken. Honestly, I like the new ones just as much, but the ones with the camera are such a fun reminder of exactly how ES:TPIO came together...

Part of the fun really is seeing how things have shaped up for Stewart. He's still really stylish in a not-trying-too-hard way.

It's amazing how stylish the three of them emerged from even the worst of the 80s, I mean look at bands in the 80s...even accounting for the tight white jeans and ripped shirts and all they really did come out of that decade not so bad...considering

Awww, come on, everyone's allowed at least one fashion faux pas. Besides I'm convinced someone else is to blame for the costumes in that video.

Dive, the first time I saw that pic of Stew, I almost fell out of my chair. HOT! and that scowl. OMG.

Ha!!! Well, I hate to tell you this, but there are plenty more where that one came from. You might want to get one of those extra-absorbant floor pads to put under your seating arrangement. ;)

(You know, earlier today I was noticing how many cool women we have on this board and deciding it's actually not all about the hotness. I mean, you'd have to be blind and stupid not to notice, but I can't tell you how many music-related message boards I'm on that are mostly men. I love that we really do have a little of everyone on here...)

[Edit: Yeah, that Synch II video was pretty funny. But on the other hand, I was listening to some 80s station on the satellite radio the other day and "He's So Shy" by the Pointer Sisters came on...released in 1980. Not to bash on the Sisters, who I'm sure released some other stuff, but...ai yi yi. That song came out the same year as Zenyatta. Why does it still sound so good, and a lot of other stuff that came out back then sounds like tin cans being pulled through a violin backwards?

I guess you could ask the same question about "Sgt Pepper"...but here I am with the Beatles comparisons again...

I think even the "look" aged well. Seriously - you never saw Stew out in public with one of those tall Aqua-netted hairdos back in the 1980s. And I bet nobody has any photos of him wearing gigantic shoulder pads. ;)]

Tee hee. You know I kid cuz I love, mardee. Wouldn't want to fall into mindless hero worship -- gotta keep Stewart modest. ("My head's too big without you . . . ") As that video goes, I maintain that there is a reason that SC looks so damn pissed.

And yup, I agree about the 80s thing, DM. Much of The Police music managed to outlive the 80s because it didn't fall into the stereotypically 80s style. It's amazing how much of *Outlandos* still works. I could personally do without some of the later Stingsy horns/strings arrangements cuz they date certain songs; but the majority of the tunes survive where "The Neutron Dance" doesn't.

Mrs. G, it sounds like you need to watch some Miami Vice. Shoulder Pad Central.

I'd really like to raid your photo album Dive. At the risk of sounding like a dirty ol.....almost middle aged lady, there are lots of delicious pics of young Stewart out there  **fans self**

Leather is a good thing. On Stewart. I went out with a guy who....oh never mind.
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!
