Ha! I see your 'Roseanna," and I raise you a Bonnie Tyler.

(Turnaround) Every now and then I get a
little bit lonely and you're never coming around

(Turnaround) Every now and then I get a
little bit tired of listening to the sound of my tears

(Turnaround) Every now and then I get a
little bit nervous that the best of all the years have gone by

(Turnaround) Every now and then I get a
little bit terrified and then I see the look in your eyes

Turnaround bright eyes, Every now and
then I fall apart . . .

(I so have to go to bed. BTW, I LOVE the name of this game.)
Dramatic highlights & a unique musical cosmos. Guaranteed.

Hahahah!!! I'm immune. Bonnie Tyler lives in Nashville and I've seen her play at benefits a couple of times.

Talk to you tomorrow, most likely (though I'm leaving for Chicago midafternoon and will be out of pocket somewhat...pretty psyched. Going to see the Hoodoo Gurus, which will rock my socks. Night all!)

Only thing I don't like about the Proclaimers is that they have a song with my actual name in it (which isn't "Divemistress") and an ex of mine used to sing it to me. Like, a lot.

However, DM, you will be glad to know that I woke up this morning singing "not quite a year since you went away....Roseanna...yeah," which is the occupational hazard of playing Earworm.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you a couple of the other rules. 1.) You get 1 "veto" per day. So if someone sings a song you absolutely cannot stand, you get one shot to kill it. 2.) Something about "megaveto," which means you can kill an entire band...BUT you only get one of these per week.

I guess it's my turn, isn't it?

"I never meant to be so bad to you
One thing I said that I would never do
One look from you and I would fall from grace
And that would wipe this smile right from my face

It was the heat of the moment
Telling me what your heart meant
Heat of the moment shone in your eeeeeeyyyyeeeess..."

Gak! I think I'm choking a little here... Animal, your link had a bad character in it and I couldn't get it to open. (Why would I want to open it anyway, I ask myself, if it's as bad as you say...maybe it'll be so bad it's good, I fervently hope...;))

Egads, this game has rules?

Here's one for the plane:

This is the song that doesn’t end
Yes, it goes on and on, my friend
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
And they’ll continue singing it forever just because
This is the song that doesn’t end
Yes, it goes on and on, my friend
Some people started singing it not knowing what it was,
And they’ll continue singing it forever just because
This is the song that doesn’t end
Yes, it goes on and on, my friend . . .

Well, the rules were kind of necessary in our household. You'd have to know just how obnoxious my husband - er, I...am....:P

I actually don't know that last one...but yeah, I really gotta go pack. Especially since I stayed up all night working on a website for this fundraiser I'm working on. I'll probably be around later though, since I'm taking the lappie. Which will give you time to think up more hideousness to try to stick in my head. ;)

Sorry about that it was quoting from alex and the end quote got mixed up in the URL.

Now I also have The Proclaimers version of King Of The Road. In my head.

You don't know the song that doesn't end?

OK, here's another, sticking with the annoying kid theme, then I have to go do actual work: (***LOOK AWAY, ANIMAL!***)

It's a WORLD of LAUghter, a WORLD of tears
It's a WORLD of HOPES, and a WORLD of fears
There's so MUCH that we SHARE
That it's TIME we're AWARE
It's a SMALL WORLD AFter ALL

IT'S a SMALL world AFter ALL
IT'S a SMALL world AFter ALL
IT'S a SMALL world AFter ALL
It's a small, small world . . .

(We need a nauseous emoticon.)
