THANK YOU FROM GIOVANNI

Whew, it's good to be home. I was just over at thepolicetour.com message board and was getting upset over certain threads, which I will not mention (I will leave the venom at the door). I just had to come here to cleanse my soul, and what better thread to do that in.

Thank you dear, Gio. This is a very wonderful message board. You always keep the peace. I think it's so funny that even if someone is doing something that pisses people off, you are so kind to them while still getting your point across. You are a true gentleman.

Well, as a newbie here who now follows this board like a mental patient, I hereby absolved you of all the negativity you endured and welcome you back to the fold.
I agree with you. This is a wonderful board and I really like the whole vibe here.
Thanks Gio and Stewart for it.

I'm too frightened to set foot in the policetour message boards. I like it better here and on Ask Uncle Ian.

and yes, Conroy, it scares me too, and I think I will have to limit my visits to just info seeking.

Been here for some time now. I don't write much, my english is not that great, and don't often go to the other sites. I'm a Copeland fan first of all, because of the drum. To make a story short, thank you Gio for this great site. It's been my source of information and joy for somes times now...

Pas trop évident de dire cela à un putain de rital ;) Allez, je te fais la bise, gauche droite, et je te dit merci pour le tout...

Toujours fidèle !

Welcome to all the newbies! No worries about the English-as-a-second language thing...we have people here from all over the world. One site that's come in handy is this one:

http://www.worldlingo.com/en/websites/u ... lator.html

It translates websites like this one into different languages.

I share your fear of the TPT.com site. Just seems like there are a lot of people in there who are determined to share their negativity with the class, and I don't have a lot of patience for that, personally....Guess I just don't think it's the end of the world to pay US$8.50/month to find out what's going on with one of my favorite bands of all time, or to have to go to a little trouble to get concert tickets. But I never planned to go over there full-time anyway. It has no Italian team, for one thing! :)

I'm very happy most of you feel at home here. It's the same for me!

It's not bad at all...sincerely it's a good website. I do agree with you.
You should all visit both websites anyway, as well as Sting.com and AUI, always great places to be...if I could only have the time to surf them all!

>"Italians do it better"
I do agree as well... I DO IT absolutely better than many others....! (bu that's a different story)

I'm excited about seeing the Police together again, I was at the show in Houston in 82. Brings back lots of memories. Dallas should be great.

Gio you did and still doing so well with this site...

Thank you very much for everything.

I felt very angry with my Italian exhubby, and also with all Italy. But since I found your site, and I wrote you and you wrote me back the very first time, and you put my first post to Stewart in your old SC official site, I began the process to reconciliate with Italy at first, and now I am not angry anymore with my exhubby.

Don't you think is The Police's magic?

I do, and they are back.

Is magic, magic, magic...

Fellow Stew forumers, not to be judging, but there are some really angry people over on the PTC site. I am a member over there also (same user ID) but this board seems much more behaved. People are lashing out in anger over there. Some of the posts are making me mad. They are using all kinds of expletives over there. Don't get sucked into the hate!

Let's continue to keep it clean here y'all.

And Gio, please continue to keep your eye out for the 'meanies.' You are doing a fantastic job and I mean that sincerely.

Heyyyyyyyyy you are from Georgia, pretty name state

I remember the synchro vid and is cool when The Police are playing Can't Stand Losing you mixed with Regatta De Blanc.

Its cool when Sting said:

All right Georgia...

I have to echo cpriddims and DotD here....I love this forum. I've been coming here ever since I found out about (and bought...file sharing is for wimps) Stewart's wonderful Orchestralli album around Halloween last year. Now that things have literally EXPLODED in our world, let's keep things relatively calm and sane. Certainly hate free would be a must.

Echo the THANKS GIO, as I can only imagine what some people are trying to post. You rule!!
