CONTEST TO SEE 'THE REHEARSALS' FOR STEWARTCOPELAND.NET

Postby blueseattle on 08 Feb 2007 02:07

I'm debating whether to enter or not. Mainly because if I do win, I'd try my hardest to go, but what if I can't go?

Hmm... this is hard.

I really think I'd like to try this.

Con, you know Southwest Airlines flies from BWI to LAX, right? I got an email from them on a big flight sale this afternoon.

I've got a slew of hookup on travel deals, hotels, etc., so I'll be glad to give travel advice to whoever does win. On the condition we get that review! And hopefully a photo of the lucky winner with Gio!! Well, OK, and maybe with Stewart too. ;)

Ugh, there's no way I can get there. I don't suppose aifare is provided, huh?! :-P

Thank you Stewart and Gio for giving us a chance and not letting Stink fans get all the tickets. You rock!

God why are you so nice? You're awesome!

I entered the contest. It's my girlfriend's 23rd birthday that day and I told her about it and she said we could fly out of Jax the night before or that morning and be there. When I asked her if I should she goes, "Um... duh?"

I would totally write a review and I'd just have to write an article for the paper I write at, college paper but whatever. This is a once in a lifetime thing and I'd die if I won.

So good luck to anyone, I'm excited about it either way. I can't believe how flippin' cool this is.

Is anyone NOT thinking about this? I couldn't help but think about it constantly over and over again in the gym. By the way, 'So Lonely' or Outlandos is the best song/album for a stairmaster.

Wow, I'm too giddy.

I entered too- I am so friggin excited about this! Here I am at work still and my mind is spinning from the thought of being one of the lucky few that gets to see them on the 12th (how AWESOME!!!). I even have off work on Monday! :D

I think the great thing is that even if I don't win, yeah I'll be dissapointed, but it's not like there's not a single one of us on here that doesn't deserve to go! I'll be ecstatic for anyone of us to win!!! Good luck to you all!

Thank you, Stewart, and thank you, Gio. You guys rock.

I'm still debating if I should enter (if there's any way I could make it there), but just knowing those of us here were given a fair chance makes me feel so much better--and thrilled for whoever in our "little" group here gets to go.

Yeah, me too. Did you see how fast Gio was able to fix this? Wow.
It makes me feel like Stewart is really involved in this reunion, and won't be relegated to a supporting role. This sounds corny, but seeing his dedication to his fans makes me feel really good about spending so much time hanging out in here, and listening to his records, and watching his awesome movie, and etc. It even kind of vindicates the t-shirt with the Police image on it I wore to pieces 20+ years ago, even though it was a horrible color on me and didn't fit at all, as well. ;) (Yes, I do wish I still had it, even though I have two spiffy new Copeland.net and Gizmo shirts these days.)

Blue, I just really like you guys, and would be happy to see any one of us get to go. Hey, you'd do the same for me. I can't tell you how many people from here have sent me cool and rare music - not just Police and Copeland stuff - just because they're nice people and without expecting anything in return. Lots of good emails from folks in here too.

This sounds corny, but music really is the universal language, and I would miss this place awfully much if something happened to it. You guys are awesome. Thanks again, Stewart people. DotD

Oh, and p.s.:

I'm sure I am boring everyone I know to pieces with all my Police/Copeland.net talk. I just reminded my mom of the story from 1983, when she wouldn't let me go to the one and only Police show the guys ever played in my hometown (also reminded her she vindicated herself somewhat by letting me play hooky to see U2 a few years later). I'm sure they'll all be glad when the guys play a few dates, or something else happens to make me settle down. ;)

yes, is a good contest.

The answer of the question is easier than accurate contact details...

Thanx Stewart and Gio... I die to be there, I know the answer of the contest, but as you know I live far away from L.A. and needs more dates to tramit visa at USA Embassy, so will be impossible for me to obtain visa and air tickets in four short days, so I prefer a POLICE fan next to L.A. will win.... for not losing those free passes.

Only two petitions Gio and Stewart:

1) Whom win the contest please write here a post describing all what you see and heard...describes anything...every breath they takes into the stage and writes like real fans... hope to read It!

2) Please considering other free tickets into their "World Tour" but with appropiate time in advance for fans like me that needs to make long and hard embassy tramits to fly an allowed to enter a "First World Country"

Good luck to all of you who will participate in the contest

Really nice, Giovanni, Stewart & all the Stewartcopeland.net staff!

I won't enter my name: I should first win a lotery offering a ticket plane to L.A.! And my passport isn't ready yet... But congrats to the two lucky persons who are gonna see THE POLICE! :D

Nah I wasan't even allowed to go to Oklahoma city (3hrs away) to see John Mayer.... Vegas?

Think they'd let the winners tape it? That would be fuckin' sweet!

>We remind you that cameras, camera phones or any other recording device are NOT allowed at the event.
How about after the rehersal?

Sounds like it's between Georgy, Dive and Blue.

Holy cow ! this is awesome, should i enter or not?, if i do win (yeah right) i'd have to drop everything and get on a plane for 15 hours, no problem of course if that means i can see the police up close and personal, but it will need some planning to make it work!

Good luck to everyone who is entering!
