Answer this if you're really stew

Well, there's no telling. But I do think we should remember that whatever we say here publicly may make it easier for creeps to commit mayhem going forward.

here's hoping Gio is opening up a big can of whoop-ass behind the scenes on whomever is making Stewart's life more difficult at the moment.

Yep, we are insane, but in a good way. My husband has been teasing me mercilessly about hanging out on here so much lately, but he can't say a word, as he's completely obsessed with a couple bands himself...(Guided by Voices, Wilco, the Kinks...the list goes on...)

I don't think I've ever seen them say "moderator online", everyone with a screen name is a user.
“...and er, did anyone try just pushing this little red button?”

Don´t worry folks, for sure it is STEWART in person.

I'm really worried now that someone might get my password and start posting things that don't sound like someone too old to be visiting a "fan" site like this.... :)

Either we are all a little strange...or Stewart and The Police made a very big impact on all our lives. Probably a bit of both.

If I was going to impersonate Stewart on this forum though, I probably would have said something more "sensational" like:

"We were just going to do a few new songs to include on an upcoming greatest hits re-release, but things went so well, we decided to work on an entire new album!"

But as he (or the impostor) mentioned, there is probably so much money and politics involved at this point that this kind of "unauthorized" announcement could cause a lot of problems.

Let's hope nobody gets bent out of shape over this.

Yep. Think about it...whatever he says may just cause mass hysteria in the press, if he does confirm any of the rumors that are going around. It's not like it's hard for anyone with half a brain to find this website on Google.

Last thing we need is 300,000,000 tabloid, er, "news" reporters, trying to log on here, crashing the servers...I think it's understandable that we'll pick up a lot of new people, given the press coverage of the reunion, but we do have to remember what life is probably like for the guys right now (pandemonium. I was actually kind of horrified that people were trying to find out where Stewart buys coffee. He's always been very gracious in interviews about the fame thing, but I'm sure it has its difficult moments.)
