[quote="Mister Gradenko"]I'd say the pic looks that way because it was dark, so he used flash and this revealed water droplets in the air? :D

I think he didn't use any flash and put the largest ISO he was able. That's probably why there is so much "noise" on the picture. Next time, reduce the ISO and use the flash! ;)

Hi Dietmar,
it's Philippe, from Aix-en-Provence. How are you?

Did you refresh the page when you've connected to the site?
You can also check the "cache" preferences of your navigator. Maybe when you connect it's using the old version it's been recorded on your HD.
Probably you can change the options and ask the navigator to automatically download the latest version of the sites you visit. It'll take a bit longer, but you'll be sure to have the latest news!
You can also empty this cache, but be careful: it can erase all the logins and passwords you stocked before.
Hope it'll help you.

Amitiés,
Philippe.

hi yobculrure, welcome on board. i am wondering if you refer to the 2 videos you put the link to. if this is the case i disagree more than 90 % with you. i hope the NEW police will be as good as the former one. this 2 songs from the broken music tour are pure mist for my ears. it doesn’t mater if there are 3 or 8 musicians on stage, it has to be good. And, if Stewart and Andy are both worse 2 or 3 musicians each (it depends on the place Sting allows them to have) then it’s a good thing. But, if additional people can bring something (that is clearly missing in that 2 songs for instance), then let’s do it. So my equation is:

THE POLICE = GOOD MUSIC (not a fix number of musicians)

That Spirits clip from Youtube is a perfect example of why Stewart ROCKS!

I like a lot of the drummers that Sting has worked with, but they just don't compare when doing Police tunes. There is another link to the '83 Montreal show when you play the link yobculture posted, and if you play it right after Sting's version, it is just so clear why the Police ROCKED! (Maybe that show wasn't Sting's best performance, but Stewart was great as usual)

Nobody touches Stewart for that dynamic sense of urgency and energy that he brings to the Police. It's not even close.

I have to admit though that I absolutely hated the "Synchronicity Concert" when it first came out because it didn't sound like "The Police" to me. The backing vocals were distracting, you couldn't hear Andy's guitar, the bass sound was kind of farty sounding, and the sequenced keyboards were kind of cheesy.

But over the years I have actually grown to like it, or at least not be offended by it.

I wouldn't have a problem if they found a really good guitarist/keyboard player with good "Sting-like" background vocals to fill out the sound live. As long as they are not a overbearing personality/presence on stage I think it would be OK.

Bottom line though is that it has to ROCK!!!

I like the picture.

Especially because I see a green drum kit.

That's all.
