OT: End of Days?

ahahaha, now I just started a kind of 'pool'....which album of the Police should survive if the world will end in a couple of weeks?
Considering they may have the time to do another album just jamming for a couple of days, it would be great if none of us will ever listen to it (???), but the future will have it...

I'd be happy if Regatta de Blanc were playing as the end came. Well, as happy as I could be in such a situation

Yep, Regetta for me, too and I hope On Any Other Day would be the track playing as the end drew nigh.

All this bogative talk about the Mayan Apocalypse reminds me of one my favorite songs by The The with Johnny Marr playing guitar:

Gotta agree with the Mrs. on this one. Outlandos d'Amour. My first love.

Am putting in my vote for Regatta de Blanc & any AndyS solo album!
I too harrassed and sneered at by co-workers at BOTH jobs already because I go to Church and disengage when the dirty jokes start to get further in this thread !
Let's just say, I have found the music of The Police, Stewart, and Andy (ok ok I did like Stings first 2 solo albums...)to be Divinely Inspired & divinely inspiring! 'Nuf said.

I am in the Regetta camp myself, love the Police album with the most Stewart compositions. It didn't used to be my favorite, but it has became that, and for more that the SC tracks.

On Outlandos, the best tracks are incredible and have aged well, but the lowlights (as I see them) are too much for. I know Born in the Fifties and Truth Hits Everybody have their fans here, just not me.

Regetta is the only Police album that is entirely on my ipod. (For the record, I have 5 albums which are all or all but one track on the ipod, and the other 4 are Klark Kent's Kollected Works, Stewart's The Rhythmatist, and Abbey Road and Sgt. Peppers from the Beatles.)

On the upcoming end of the world, it just can't be. So unfair from my son to have been purchased all these great Christmas gifts and for the world to end before he can see let alone play with any of them. That just can't be.
SC-There are a few crazy people on this planet. Sure sign of that is that they kinda like my music

uhm, ok so the song to play at the very moment of the end of the world could be INVISIBLE SUN...or maybe DEMOLITION MAN? Uhm...well, by the way, I just saw I wrote 'pool' instead of 'poll'...well, that says it all of what I have in mind...
