yeah. I'll probably buy a MacBookPro next year sometime, because there are no (!) dive computers that'll download to OSX. Sucks incredibly much. Well, except it won't suck to have a new MBP, since I've beaten my Powerbook G4 nearly to death. Seriously, it's dented and stuff...

I may be able to patch my Uwatec through my Treo 650 (probably going to buy a 700p next year too, since they made an alternative to the crappy Treo 700 Windoze interface)...

All I have to say is, "What's that?"

"Money don't make my world go 'round, I'm reaching out to a higher ground."

"Is that a philosophy?"

"Des'ree."

I guess I'm not surprised at the computer literacy of most people here. One of the things that's always impressed me about Stewart is his enthusiasm for technology and he is always staying one step ahead of the curve for exploring the use of technology in his various projects. I love the documentary extra on the Rumble Fish DVD where he talks about how they did the looping of the industrial sounds and incorporated that into his score for that film is something. I also like going back and reading old interviews where he talks about using the Mac and Fairlight to compose and edit Holy Blood and the Crescent moon.

In other news, check out the t-shirt being sold by Mike Doughty (formerly of Soul Coughing), one of my extremely favorite musicians:

Thanks for the advice... I got a macbook pro core duo - very impressive all 17 inches of it.

Waiting to get the new photoshop that's optimised for it - should be released in the spring. Other than that just been playing around with the iStuff it comes with.

Know any good tutorial websites alongside the official mac ones?

Take's a bit of gettting used to after years of using Windows but I'm getting there.
