Hey Kmart! Welcome! You'll have to do a little digging around and find the Kopelandic Dictionary.
It'll give you a chuckle or two.
Stewart and Stanley together again!! YO!

By the way, kmart, while we're bumping old threads I wanted to say HI specifically to you, because I live in Chicago (near Wrigley) and I also run a lot (but I bike more, and swim about as much ...). So I'm a fellow Chicago Nutter!

Are you guys doing the 10k or the half? Ok, It will give me something to train for! Maybe lose some of this weight Ive packed on! Im not fast but Im like the energizer bunny....I keep going and going..I ran the Sept 2010 half (the one on LSD) in 2:04...The Calumet City half in 1:54 (My PR)....I slow down the longer the distance.....I did the chicago marathon in 2009 and 2010...I am not even going to embarras myself talking about my times!

Last year I started strong, got hurt and took up competitive eating instead! Oh well....back to life, back to reality....and PAIN!

IM IN!!!

I was gonna mention too, how nice you Nutters can be to a newbie, even a slightly obnoxious one....everyone has been nothing but kind to me.

SO.....anyone else running?????
Stay ready...to cut and run.

Half half half!

To quote Conroy, WOOOOO HOOOOO!

My huband's about 1:38, you're about 2:04, I'm about 2:15, I'm not sure what empty's time is (we did the LA half last month together, but barely even looked at our watches and were incredibly undertrained), so we can meet up before and after and then go get brunch or some such thing.

Yay, Nutters on the run!

This is so exciting! Our own little Nutter team. As a recovered runner, I say Go, Team, Go! (and so envious as well...) Just Do It!

Hi, I'm between 2:25 and 2:40. But now I have no ankle pain, and some time to train, I plan to beat that. Hoping for 2:15. Yeah, I'm slow, but I'm persistent as hell.

WOOT! A nutter race!

Love the idea of a Nutter team! We'll absolutely need pics and details when this happens!

(I'm a very very amateur runner myself - ie, I wimp out as soon as the weather turns cold. The most I've been up for so far is a 5k...)

on LSD?!?!? wow, hardcore.

that must've been some trip. well done. If there were any runners in fancy dress (rhinos, dafy ducks, pink panthers etc) i bet that must have done your head in......

I don't run, I'm not on LSD (heh, heh), and I don't run on LSD, but I welcome you to scnet, kmart :)

Now, can someone please tell me WHY the railing just twisted into a pretzel and the cat is barking at me?

* I realize that I'm a year late. Fell off for a bit. ;-)
