You've got some excellent hats Bongo.

I like the video, particularly the bowing bit at around 3.08. I also like the hat doffing bit toward the end of the Jet Blue video.

I've got Sanatori Sky jam on my i-pod from Amazon and it causes a lot of dancing during working hours which is a very good thing.

I know I keep banging on about it Bongo but will Jet Blue be coming to Amazon anytime soon?

Smudge would have loved the video if you had a certain actor in it.

Toronto is a lot like that.

I dig cities that mix it up.

and music like that too.

Thanks a lot.

You've got a dubby/sitar-y groove thang going on there that just. screams. england. (well - the best bits of england anyway). It's what should be playing on the iPod in my head next time I'm lucky enough to be wandering through Leicester Market in search of sweet potatoes, coriander seeds, black pudding, sari fabric, and second hand cds. Bloomin' awesome.

I'll confess I'm not wild about the video - but I've got the visual sense of a short-sighted mole, so ignore that. LOVE the track though.
Speaking of saris, Santorini and Toronto, the other day, I was walking past the local sari shop in my Toronto neighbourhood that I imagine is quite similar in vibe to Leicester Market. Suddenly, I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard music coming from the shop--music that I swore was Bongo's "Santorini Sky Jam". I was about to walk in and inquire where they had obtained the music when the instrumentals gave way to a female voice with a decided Bollywood bend to it. I guess it was more of a Mumbai Sky Jam, but it worked pretty well too.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.

WOW Thanks !

this is why I do music.

It all really starts with my next song. Santorini was just a demo I always loved, so cool some of you dug it.

Too bad Toronto does not like playing real indie music on the radio. It's tough, I'll keep trying..

"Jet Blue" is next, more Twang than Dread.

I'll be releasing singles like that. Santorini leans toward Dread, Jet Blue...Twang.
Reggae-ish then Country/RegRockish. It's like musical mental confusuion. Perfect.

The video may still suck. I have an idea. We'll see.

Thanks for making me feel great !
