The BOOK is in NYC!

Well, you may have to wait a while for my comments, Dive. I likely possess the world record for the slowest reading holder of a Bachelors degree in English and French lit. Plus, I'm crazy busy right now. But if I survived university, I can do this. It helps that I'm familiar with the stories and used to Stewart's style of expressing himself. I'm actually making better progress than I thought I would. It also turns out that I'm taking Monday morning off work to accompany my son to a medical appointment. I'm so glad that I got the book before Tuesday as I should get a fair bit of reading in while I sit about the waiting room on Monday.
In Dallas, the only game that really mattered was in the word gamelan.

Had no luck finding it early in Philly, but did ask my nearest B&N to hold a copy for me on Tuesday as they swear they'll have it on the release date.
